Bekka's Page
This is my angel! Rebekka Elizabeth Hawkins or Bekka as we like to call her. She'll soon be four years old. (Oct 15)
Although I don't get to see her as much as I'd like, I try to get down her way as much as possible. She lives in Georgia with her mother.
This picture is pretty outdated. It was taken just before me & her mother split up in November '96. I get her for two weeks next summer & I'm already excited about it.
If all goes well, I'll get to see her this Christmas. She's got a lot of family that miss her very much & one four legged friend in particular that wants to play with her VERY badly!
When me & her mother split up, I thought that she would be happier if she stayed with her since I'd be moving every few years & she would have to make new friends & she'd never have a place she could really call home. I believed that wasn't fair to her. Although I know I made the right choice for Bekka, it has cost me more than words can say. Having a child that's growing up without you & not getting to watch them grow is something I wouldn't wish on somebody I even hated.
