The plot: The movie starts with the forming of the X-Men and deals with the issue of prejudism. Which in the movie is between humans and those who are different. Called mutants they have the x gene which, gives them there extrodinary powers. The X-Men must discover what Magneto wants Wolverine for well Kelly learns of Magneto's plan for the U.N. council.

James Marsden: Marsden plays the part of Scott Summers aka Cyclops. Scott like Jubilee was orphaned as a child. Cyclops is taken in by Xavier and becomes his first X-Man.

Famke Janssen: Janssen plays the part of Jean Grey. In the comics Jean has the team name of Phoenix. Grey is the second student of Xavier and soon becomes involved with Scott during her stay at the x-mansion. In the X-Men series Jean marries Scott.

Halle Berry: Berry has been in Bulworth and Executive Decision. In addition to action movies and comidies she has done a few romantic comedies and dramas. Berry plays the part of Ororo Munroe aka Storm. Ororo was orpahened as a child in New York. She later winds up in Africa were she meets Xavier and becomes a member of the X-Men.

Matthew Sharp: Sharp plays the role Henry Peter Gyrich. Gyrich is as anti-mutant as they come. He is also unfortunately for mutants a national security advisor to none other then Senator Kelly. Putting him in a position to inflict harm upon the mutant populace. Fortunately Gyrich is a man of morals and does not abuse his power. In the movie Gyrich is killed by Magneto and replaced by Mystique.

Hugh Jackman: Jackman born in Australia plays the part of Logan aka Wolverine. Jackman was given a visa by the producers of the X-Men movie during its making so he could take part in it. The character Wolverine is Canadian. Wolverine gained his adamantium claws through the weapon-x project which was administered by a Canadian secreat agency called Department H. Through Dep H he becomes a Canadian soldier and spy until he breaks free and joins Xavier's X-Men.

Alex Burton: Burton plays the role of John whose powers are unknown. What is known though is that John is a member of the New Mutants

Anna Paquin: Paquin plays the part of Rogue. It is not known by her teamates what her real name is. Rogue was abandoned by her real parents and was adopted. Her father turns out to be a drunk and physically abuses her until she runs away and meets Mystique who eventually becomes her foster mother. In the movie Rogue gains the white strip in hair by absorbing some of Magneto's powers.

John Davey: Davey plays the role of Sam Guthrie aka Cannonball. Mose likely Cannonball will be a member of the New Mutants as well. The character Guthrie is an immortal and cannot be harmed by anything.

Shawn Ashmore: Ashmore plays the role of Bobby Drake aka Iceman who is a member of a team called the New Mutants in the movie.

Ray Park: Park's role in the movie is as the Toad. Toad's real name is Mortimer Toynbee. Mort can secrete a paralyzing substance from his hands and leap at heights which most humans cannot reach. The Toad was the second recruit of Magneto into the Brotherhood and he is perhaps the most loyal follower of Magento's.

Rebecca Romijn-Stamos: Stamos plays the part of Mystique. Stamos acting ranges from comidies, to action movies to dramas. The character Mystique whose real name is Raven Darkholme is the first member of the Brotherhood. She also was briefly the lover of Sabretooth who she had two children with in the X-Men series. Mysitque is addition the foster parent of Rogue.

Tyler Mane: Mane plays the part of the psychotic Sabretooth. Sabretooth's real name is Victor Creed. Creed was also apart of the weapon-x project. As an agent for Dep H Creed killed many innocent people in the line of duty whereas Wolverine only killed out of defense and non-civilians. Creed cuts loose from the department and becomes a roaming killer and thief until he meets Magneto and becomes a member of the Brotherhood.

Bruce Davison: Davison's character in the movie is Senator Scott "Frank" Kelly. In the series his name is Robert Kelly. Kelly is a US senator who starts off having no problem with the mutant race until his wife Rebecca is murdered by a mutant. After this event he becomes a mutant hater and sets out to create a series of laws restricting the rights of mutants.
