The Way

As you enter the dark passage the churning water of the stream is channeled between two cement paths, the left one being the path you stand on now. You continue forth until you've past several other intersections, crossing a couple more water channels by way of small steel walkways. The water below is very dark and doesn't look too appealing...fortunately you remembered to dab your nose with parfume...as instructed via Dianian's discourse...

At about the time that the passages become too dark to see comfortably, some intermittent red light fixtures appear on the walls. You come to an intersection with no bridges and are reminded that here is the place to turn left. You are in another waterway that is smaller and has a calmer moat of water between you the opposite wall. You carefully extract a small silver pendant with several tiny bells...you hold it carefully in an extended hand, the top of it pinched between two fingers allowing the bells to sound freely. Dianian's insistance on this action was never explained but you've no desire to try her insistance, so you continue on, the sounds of water and of the tiny bells as your only comfort.

This passage curves slightly to the left, the red lights of the wall showing the way. You pass several passages both on your side and the other side of the dark hall. After perhaps a hundred feet you see another metal bridge that spans the sewer moat...as you carefully walk across it a large cement slab slides open several yards down the way...a slight feminine form (one not of Dianian) beckons you forth.

The slight girl leaves the doorway open just long enough for you to enter. She is dressed in a fine blue velvet dress and other such finery. "Welcome Mistress/Sire...my liege awaits you inside...please, follow me." She is young, perhaps twenty, and is just a human...not a ghoul or cainite. She leads you down a long straight, downward sloping passageway which is quite strangely lit...on the surface of the walls and ceiling there are colonies of a strange type of moss that glows of it's own accord..you notice strange wall sconces that appear to be supporting the existance of the strange lighting, as though it was tended, not naturally occuring...*

At the end of the down graded path there is a large oak door, bound with very old wrought iron fixtures. The girl employs a large silver knocker to bang on the door once. You wait but a few seconds until the door opens silently on greased hinges...before you is a small antechamber with a vaulted ceiling...on either side of you are tapestries...one of the Cappadocian Clan, the other a fine tapestry with the ancient profile of Constantinople across it's surface...before you stands your host, dressed in a floor length crushed velvet dress with lace fringe at the neck and cuffs. She holds before her a large goblet filled to the brim with what looks like fresh vitae.

Behind her and to both sides there are doorways covered with velvet curtains, and flush against the far wall there is a large wrought iron cemetary gate, an evident coat hanger...The room is lit to a very comfortable level for your Cainite vision...Dianian speaks* "Good evening..." *To the girl* "Thank you Cynthia, go ahead and prepare what we spoke of earlier..." *Cynthia nods and takes exit to the doorway on the right*
