ABOUT FAIRIES
Hello, there have been volumes writen on the discriptions and habitats of the fae, but that isn't what I wanted to talk to you about.
Being that I have a fae-spirit I wanted to tell you a little about how we think because most people around us are driven absolutely insane by our thought process but have never asked us how we think.
We see the world as it is, as it is magicly, how we want it to be, and in cartoon.
How it is
We see how it is as a dull and sad little world no glamour and everyone just trying to make a buck. We wonder how other people survive since this is all they have to look forward to. We wonder why they even bother to get out of bed in the morning. We try to get those trapped in this reallity to either see more of the glomour of just cheer up, it usually doesn't work.
How it is Magicly
Everything has a distinct spirit (except those based in how it really is, they appear soulless to us) some will look like dragons to us and some will look like other fae of different varieties and some will look like leeches (oh, I mean vampires) etc...all of them though generally look like something and we will respect it or not by what it looks like to us. All areas either have glamour or don't and we like to avoid the ones that don't, examples the ampitheater and the soundgarden have glamour buisness centers do not. This is why when we first go somewhere we know whether or not we ever want to come back. When we first meet someone we know whether or not we like them and what to expect from them.
How we want things to be
In general except for things like games of tag etc... we want things to be peacefull and serene. We would like all the street people to realize that they do have a way out and that they need to do it for themselves. We would like everyone who says "I just can't handle it" or "this is just the way that I am" to realize that they can change. We would like all children to be treated as capable human beings who's respect we earn by giving them respect.
The world in Cartoon
We see the person throwing a temper tantrum as Yosemite Sam and we are trying not to laugh as we blankly stare at the person imagining that the words coming out of their mouth are really "Why, you varmit!!". We see the person who is always reading as the bookworm. We see the person who is really intelligent with no finess as bullwinkle, every time that he is bored and looking for something to do and comes up with an idea we are expecting "Hey, Rocky, watch me pull a rabit out of my hat". Sometimes it even goes beyond just cartoons, for example I think that my demented buddy Alpha looks like Uncle Fester and I keep waiting to see him start going after insects with his tongue. The even more frightening thing is that I do not believe that any of us would be very shocked if it actually happened. Even the gross and disgusting can sometimes cheer us up and the cartoon images are never more than a shadow of the persons true nature and we feel that the silly "I'm normal, really I am." masks that people hide behind are boring, plastic, and really stupid. And we feel really sorry for the ones who don't even realize that the "normal" image is, in fact, plastic.
We only play tag to cheer everyone up and watch the animation of the people running and to raise the energy level, not just to annoy the people around us(contrary to popular belief).
