Cybermen: The Early Years   This compilation, hosted by sixth Doctor Colin Baker, showcases classic footage from the first appearances of the sinister Cybermen. Contains excerpts from the lost Doctor Who episodes, along with all of the remaining footage from the Troughton-era adventures The Moonbase and The Wheel in Space.

Daleks: The Early Years   Hosted by fifth Doctor Peter Davison, this collection takes us back to the early adventures starring the dreaded Daleks. Includes interviews with Dalek creator Terry Nation along with cast and crew members, and looks at the "Dalek-mania" of the mid-1960s. Includes excerpts from the missing stories, as well as the full remaining episodes of the classics, The Dalek's Master Plan and The Evil of the Daleks.

More Than 30 Years in the TARDIS   This special documentary was produced by the BBC to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Doctor Who. It features interviews with an extensive collection of actors, creators, crewmembers, and celebrities, along with rare appearances of Doctor Who on other programmes. An entertaining look at the greatest sci-fi show ever made.

The Hartnell Years   This special edition looks back at the first years of Doctor Who, featuring interviews with crew and cast members. Rare footage is seen from the early stories, of which many episodes were destroyed and lost from the BBC archives. Also contains the series original untransmitted pilot, and episodes from The Crusades and The Celestial Toymaker. Hosted by Sylvester McCoy, who played the seventh Doctor.

The Troughton Years   Jon Pertwee hosts this collection of excerpts from the second Doctor's adventures broadcast in the late 1960s, including the only existing episodes from The Abominable Snowmen, The Enemy of the World, and The Space Pirates.

The Pertwee Years   Jon Pertwee takes us back to his time as The Third Doctor with a selection of his favorites scenes and episodes. The early 1970s era brought many changes to the show, with The Doctor exiled on Earth, acting as scientific advisor to UNIT, and the appearance of his arch-enemy, The Master. Includes behind-the-scenes footage and interviews.

The Tom Baker Years   (2 tape set) The enigmatic Tom Baker hosts an irreverent retrospective of his years as The Doctor. Includes scenes from every story, from Robot to Logopolis, with behind-the-scenes commentary and anecdotes about his fellow cast and crewmembers. What makes this especially interesting is the fact that Baker rarely watched the show, so we get to see his reactions to watching himself as The Doctor for the first time.

The Colin Baker Years Colin Baker looks back at his time as the sixth Doctor, whose erratic and difficult behavior was a departure from previous Doctors. Contains scenes from many of his adventures, with behind-the-scenes info and stories. Colin Baker's two seasons as The Doctor were marked by internal strife at the BBC and threats of the shows cancellation, so this tape takes an interesting look at the making of the show.

Doctor Who Movies starring Peter Cushing

Dr. Who and the Daleks   Peter Cushing plays The Doctor in this 1965 theatrical release. Based on the second Doctor Who adventure, The Daleks, the TARDIS lands on the planet Skaro, which has been ravaged by a nuclear war. While investigating a strange futuristic city, the travellers run into the Daleks, evil creatures who exist in robotic mechanisms and have lost all "human" traits. In the movies, The Doctor is portrayed as an eccentric inventor who built a time machine, rather than a Time Lord, and Barbara is now The Doctor's other grandchild. The sets and costumes have a "mod"-60s look, and these movies were the first time Doctor Who was presented in color, until the TV episodes of the early 70s.

Dr. Who: Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 AD   The second Doctor Who feature film is based on the William Hartnell adventure The Dalek Invasion of Earth, where The Doctor and his companions arrive on Earth in 2150 AD to discover The Daleks have enslaved all of humanity. The Doctor meets a guerilla band of rebels who are fighting to free humanity and save the Earth. A bigger budget and impressive special effects (for 1960s standards) help to translate this epic tale to the big screen. An essential movie for any Doctor Who fan.
