An Unearthly Child (4 episodes)
This premiere adventure introduces us to Susan Foreman, a teenager who lives with her
eccentric grandfather, The Doctor. When Susan's school teachers (Ian and Barbara) go
to check up on her home life, they find that "home" is the TARDIS, a machine that is able to
travel through space and time. The Doctor gives them a demonstration, taking them back in
time to Earth in 100,000 BC, where they help the cavemen rediscover the lost secret of fire.

The Daleks (7 episodes)
The TARDIS lands on the planet Skaro, which has been ravaged by neutronic wars for centuries.
The Doctor and his companions get involved in a power struggle between the Thals, a race of
perfect beings, and the Daleks, a mutant intelligence of pure evil. The Daleks have "evolved
beyond the need for human bodies and their only orders are to EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!

Keys of Marinus (6 episodes)
The TARDIS lands on the planet Marinus, where the sand is glass and the sea is acid. They are
captured by Arbitan, Keeper of the Conscience of Marinus, a computer that keeps the planet in
harmony, but four of the five keys that make it function are lost. The Doctor and his companions
travel the planet searching for the lost keys, encountering a deserted jungle, a frost-covered
wilderness, and the cities of Morphoton and Millenius.

The Aztecs (6 episodes)
The TARDIS lands in 1430 during the Aztec reign of Mexico. Separated from the TARDIS, The
Doctor and his companions meet the ruling priests, who are convinced that Barbara is the
reincarnation of Yetaxa, the legendary High Priest. Ian is appointed Chief of the Aztec
Warriors and must battle with the Chosen Leader for the title. The Time of Sacrifice approaches
as The Doctor tries to find the way back to the TARDIS and escape.

The Dalek Invasion of Earth (6 episodes)
The Doctor and his companions arrive in London, the year 2164, to find the Daleks have
conquered the Earth. The Daleks have turned humanity into slave-like Robomen and are using
them to transform the planet into a giant battle station. The Doctor and Ian are captured
by the Robomen and taken to the Dalek Supreme, while Susan meets a band of freedom fighters
working to destroy the Dalek's evil master plan.

The Rescue/The Romans (2 episodes/4 episodes)
In The Rescue, The Doctor lands on the planet Dido to find a crashed spaceship from
Earth carrying two lone survivors, a paralyzed man, Bennett, and a young girl named Vicki.
The rest of the crew was supposedly murdered by the usually peaceful Didonians, prompting
The Doctor to further investigation of the mystery. Vicki becomes the newest member of the
TARDIS crew. In The Romans, The Doctor decides on some relaxation at a Roman
villa during the Gallic wars, but soon becomes entangled in Roman political intrigue.
Slave traders capture Barbara and Ian, and Ian ends up fighting for his life in the Circus
Maximus.

The Web Planet (6 episodes)
An unknown force draws the TARDIS to the planet Vortis, inhabited by the ant-like Zarbi who
are at war with the butterfly-like Menoptera. The Zarbi capture the TARDIS and force Barbara
to work in their slave-colony. The Doctor learns that the war is being perpetuated by the
Animus, a parasitic web creature that is slowly taking over the planet.

The Crusades / The Space Museum (4 episodes) / (4 episodes)
The Crusades finds the TARDIS crew arriving in 12th Century Palestine, where they become involved
in the political struggle between the invading King Richard the Lionheart and the local Saracen empire.
Richard plans a diplomatic end to the conflict, enlisting the help of The Doctor and his companions.
In The Space Museum, they visit the planet Xeros, finding themselves on display as exhibits in a
strange museum. Invisible to the local inhabitans, The Doctor realizes that the TARDIS has jumped a time
track and they are witnessing their own possible future as prisoners of the warlike Moroks.

The Chase (6 episodes) [Part of THE DALEKS: BOXED SET]
After installing a new Time/Space Visualiser, The Doctor learns that the Daleks have
designed a time machine and are hunting him down. The two craft engage in a grand chase
throughout the universe, landing in exotic locales such as the desert planet Aridius, the
Marie Celeste, a gothic castle complete with Dracula and Frankenstein, the Empire
State Building, and a mechanoid world, Mechanus. The Doctor fights the Daleks in a final
showdown with the Mechanoids, and the TARDIS picks up a new crewmember, Steven Taylor.

The Ark (4 episodes)
The Doctor and his young friends arrive on a space Ark from Earth transporting
all of humanity to a new planet, Refusis. Unfortunately, the newest member of the TARDIS crew
Dodo has a cold, which turns out to be deadly to the humans and their slave race, the Monoids.
The Doctor rushes to find a cure before all of Earth life is wiped out. When the TARDIS returns to
the Ark 700 years later, the travellers are shocked to find the Monoids now rule over the submissive
humans.

The War Machines (4 episodes)
The TARDIS returns to present-day London in time for the unveiling of a new super-computer
(by 1960's standards) called WOTAN, the first true artificial intelligence machine. Things
go awry when WOTAN starts to build War Machines, self-contained mobile computers, in order
to take over the world. The Doctor meets his new companions, Ben and Polly, while the top
scientists and officials try to figure out how to stop the diabolical WOTAN and its army
of death-computers.
This was the first modern-day story.
