Mutant Abilities: Charge up the potential energy of an object and
change it to kinetic, causing a large BOOM!, upgraded natural
ability, and some little hypmotizing thing he does with his eyes and
voice.
First Apperance: Uncanny X-men #266, August 1990
Past Professions: Master Theif, but he only steals from crooks.

Origin: Little is known about Gambit's shady past. What is certain is that: 1) He has been a member of the Thieves Guild since his brother Henri recruited him. 2) He married Belladonna due to a feud between the Thieves and Assassins. 3) While in Paris, he had a brief, but deadly encounter with Sabretooth. LeBeau made his first appearance when he saved Storm , (who was reverted to childhood by the Nanny) from the Hounds. The two were partners for a while, until they rejoined the X-Men. The two main reasons Gambit stays a X-Man is his love for Rogue and friendship with Storm.In Bishop's time, there is only one X-Man left is the Witness, also known as Gambit. After this revelation, Gambit and Bishop have put away their differences. Gambit's shaky relationship with Rogue was almost certain until they kissed before the crystalline wave struck them. This left Gambit in a coma, and Rogue with a secret in her head. She left with Iceman , and headed for Seattle, where the secret's answer should be. Gambit awakes from his coma, and heads for Seattle to confront his dark past. He tries to explain it to her, but she flies off. Then, Mr. Sinister entered, and reminded Gambit "to play the hand Sinister has dealt" him. This means that at one point in his past, Gambit was in need of Sinister's assistance. When Rogue returned to the X-Men, she brought along a new Magneto with her. In a recent issue of X-Men, Magneto and Gambit got into a fight over Rogue's love. Gambit then went to Shi'ar space, and saved the Shi'ar Empire from the Phalanx. And now is stuck on an alien planet. (his past is to be revealed)...
