2001: "Tomb Raider" (as Lara Croft)
directed by Simon West (I) ("Con Air",´97; "The General´s Daughter", ´99); with Jon Voight,...

"Original Sin" (as ...)

2000: "Gone in Sixty Seconds" (as Sara "Sway" Wayland)
directed by Dominic Sena ("Kalifornia" ´93); with Nicolas Cage, Robert Duvall,...

Review: My expectations for this movie were very high so I was a little disappointed of this remake of the ´74 original. The cinematography is one of the few positives things of the movie. And don't expect great performances although the group of top actors.
Good: Superb chase car with a superb Mustang Shelby GT-500. Listen to the sound of that V8...wow. Still it doesn´t top the "Ronin" chases.
Bad: The other cars are just for show...except a mini-chase with a 911. Not even a chase with a Lamborghini? or a Ferrari? I guess the budget was not big enought! I still remember the first 5 minutes of "The Cannonball run" with a Countach or the black Ferrari in "The Hidden"...
Angelina appears in the screen for nearly the same minutes as in the trailer ... almost.

1999: "Girl, Interrupted" (as Lisa)
directed by James Mangold; with Winona Ryder, Vanessa Redgrave,...

"The Bone Collector" (as Amelia Donaghy)

Review: Endings are the last impression of a movie and in this case it gives you a bad impression. I must confess that in my first review I gave 4 starts, undoubtedly blind by Angelina's performance but I saw it a second time and reconsider.
Good: Angelina is one of the few positives things in this movie along with the cinematography by Dean Semler ("Dances with Wolves", '90; "Waterworld", '95).
Bad: Denzel "not at his best" Washington and the plot (its very easy to figured who's the killer; nothing new)
Really Bad: the end!
