The Moonless Caves
The one which follows is the translation of the first story I ever wrote, when I was seven. It's not a masterpiece, but it's my first tale. I decided to resist to the temptation to improve it, so you can take part to the nightmares created by a young mind.
The Dreadful Wood

Part I
One night I woke up, I opened the door: suddenly... The door closed, I heard a deafening noise, a light dazzled and overwhelmed me; I saw two GHOSTS!... They seized me and took me to the skeleton called "SATAN SKULL", but thanks to a mysterious force I could save myself. When I came out of the cavern I saw a tyrannosaurus that... devoured me! But I had a little knife in my pocket and I cut its stomach!
Part II
Then I saw a tree, I went under it and I fell asleep.
I woke up in a tumbledown house and old wall-creepers hung down
from the windows. I saw a witch,
wicked and evil.....She jumped over me and throwed me in an endless pit....
I put my hands and feet to the sides of the pit and I climbed
its stones. I got out of it and I killed the witch with my little pocket knife.
I escaped in a cavern....
Part III
I saw a giant fire, where many people were burning alive.
So, with a pick I hit a rock
and the water gushed from the hole,
putting out the fire. Then the men thanked me and showed me the way home.
I started to follow the path, but behind a rock I saw......the
"SKELETONS' COUNCIL". I stopped them by throwing them stones;
Then I climbed a waterfall, I dived into its river and I found myself at home!
