About Me

Where to start… I guess at the beginning. I was born and raised in Utah and will probably remain here until I die. (Unless a really enticing offer convinces me to move.) So despite my urge to live in Utah, I long to travel and see the world. My ancestral background is an assortment of mostly American and Swedish, as well as a bit of Welsh and Scottish. It’s most likely the Celtic part of my heritage that gives me a love for all things mythical/mystical. I have an extensive collection of fantasy items such as castles, dragons, swords, etc. I love mythology of all kinds, especially Celtic (specifically King Arthur) as well as Greek and Roman myths. But my interests are not just limited to the above-mentioned mythologies. I love all kinds of horses, especially Andalusians.
****The Andalusians horse has been highly regarded since the Middle Ages. Spanish horses have been esteemed for their quality and appearance since Roman times. The Moors invaded Spain in the Seventh Century and brought Barb horses with them. These oriental horses were crossed with quality native Spanish stock, and the result was the Andalusians. In the Middle Ages, the Andalusians were the favored mount for European nobles. The Andalusians was a major influence on the Lipizzaner breed in the 1500's. More recently, it was used as a cavalry mount. Its numbers at one time diminished, but today the Andalusians physical appearance and trainability make it one of the world's most desirable riding horses.****
As for Other interests, I enjoy horseback riding (although it’s been a while), scuba diving, gardening, water activities and reading. I also like art, drawing, painting and playing computer games.
