1.) Be sure you have read the requirements
and that you believe your page will meet the requirements upon
submission of this application. Too many
people submit their webpages without reading the requirements set out
by this webpage, which is why so many people are not being accepted
to become a member knight of the Knights of Comics.2.) Fill out the form below to submit your application.
3.) Once you've received your notification that your application has been
received, make sure you enter the webring graphic into your opening
page by cutting and pasting the noted
text in your email (or from the screen that appears right after your
application has been received) into your opening page's HTML file.
4.) Send me e-mail and I, the
preceptor to the Knights of Comics, along with the current member
knights of the Knights of Comics, will
surf through your site thoroughly to determine if your site is
noteworthy enough to make you, the page maintainer, a Knight of Comics. If it is,
you will receive a notification that your site has been added. If not,
you will be notified of it too, and, if requested, any suggestion to
help qualify your page for membership in this webring.
Our decision will be made within 5 days of your application to the
Knights of Comics webring, by that time, which you will be notified
whether you, the webpage creator, has been dubbed a Knight of Comics.
If you wish, you may obtain the voting results by e-mailing the
preceptor of the Knights of Comics. Be sure to include your Site ID#
if you do wish to obtain the voting results for your page.
Do not feel as if a denial to your membership to becoming a knight of
the Knights of Comics is a setback to you. Note that the approval
rating for "squires" like yourself who wish to become a true knight
of the Knights of Comics is about 20%, but do not let this statistic
make you afraid of trying out to becoming a Knight of Comics, for only
in trial will you be able to determine how far along you have come and
if you are truly ready to receive the honor of becoming a Knight of Comics. You are
highly encouraged to try as many
times as you would like to become a Knight of Comics, but each time you reapply, you must
have made some type of noticeable improvement on your webpage. The
idea of becoming a Knight of
Comics is for you to be the best you can possibly be and create
the best comic book webpage to the best of your own ability. It is
only then, when your comic book page is as good as you can make it,
when you will attain the ranking as a true Knight of Comics.
