Castor Troy is the most dangerous man in the world!

And to catch this killer, Agent Sean Archer will have to make the ultimate sacrifice!

He will become his enemy!

"I was trying to kill you, the boy was an accident. But you had to take it so personally. Why don't you just kill yourself or let it go?" - John Travolta as Castor Troy in "Face/Off".

In the plot-twisting high-tech thriller "FACE/OFF," relentless FBI agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) must go dangerously undercover to investigate the location of a lethal biological weapon planted by his arch rival, the sadistic terrorist-for-hire Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage). After undergoing a radical surgical procedure, Archer literally "borrows" Troy's face and identity to carry out his mission. But things go awry when Troy, emerging from a coma, transforms into Archer and wreaks havoc upon his life, both at work and at home. As the bomb continues to tick and the tension mounts, it becomes a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse as both Archer and Troy, ironically trapped in their enemy's body, try to save faceŠtheir own.

"Face/Off" is director John Woo's fourth american feature to date. Hard Target, Broken Arrow & the Once a Thief telefilm being the latter works.

"Face/Off" is also undoubtedly one of his finest films. Venturing into the realm of science fiction/action, Woo is still able to deal with the constant themes of his work: kinship, respect, honor between warriors and, of course, inner peace of the character at hand.
