I had a conversation recently with a man who commented that the length of a woman's hair was proportional to the number of children she had. --that every time she birthed a child, she'd lop the hair another length. So the question is this: What is it that is inherently female about having long hair? Or male about having short hair? I've heard men say about women --"...her hair is as short as mine is." --as if this were an insult. I already know the answer to this of course. What I don't know is what is the deal? I think its ridiculous.

Why is it that the genealogy of Jesus in the book of Matthew differs from that in the book of Luke?

Why is it that the genealogy of Jesus in Luke, is traced back through that of Joseph, who is not his biological father. I would understand if they'd put a note it saying he was adopted but that's not what they did. AND...apparantly, GOD is not only Jesus father but also his great(X77) grandfather ---What is that about? seems a bit incestuous to me...
