Bloopers

Here you will find some of the few things that are wrong with Star Wars. I don't have any graphics of any or much proof that they exist so you'll have to take my word for it or volunteer some proof. I know these aren't all the mistakes in the trilogy please mail me if you know of any others.

Scene: We enter the interior of the Corillian Corvet and See-Threepio and Artoo-Detoo are shown for the first time
: Threepio's right foot (from his knee and down) is silver, not golden like the rest of him. You can see this in other scenes throughout the trilogy as well.

Scene: Aboard the Jawas' Sandcrawler. After we have seen R2-D4 (the red Artoo-unit) for the second time and the camera shifts to Artoo.
Blooper: For a moment you can see the actor inside Artoo, Kenny Baker, through the "eye" on Artoo's "head" I'm not sure but it looks like you can see up his nose.

Scene: Uncle Owen has purchased Threepio and R2-D4 . When R2-D4 explodes, Threepio points out Artoo as a possible replacement and the camera cuts to show an eager Artoo.
Blooper: To Artoo's left is R2-D4, even though R2-D4 is smoldering by Luke's side.

Scene: Beru, Owen and Luke are sitting at the dinner table.
Blooper: Luke picks up his cup with his right hand and pours Aunt Beru's Blue cool-aid into it. The cup shifts between Luke's right and left hand a few times.

Scene: When Ben and Luke are watching Leia's message
Blooper: Just as the message starts there are three objects on the table where the hologram is shown; two silvery objects that look like space-age salt and pepper shakers and one object that looks like a small vase. When Leia starts to talk, there are only two objects left on the table (the two silvery objects). Later when she's finished, all objects are in place again.

Scene: When Ben and Luke investigate the remains of the Sandcrawler.
Blooper: Ben states that "these blast points, too accurate for Sand People. Only Imperial Stormtrooper are so precise." Still, that precision marksmanship doesn't stop them from missing more than a few open shots the heroes. In fact the only time they ever hit Han Luke or Leia is one lucky "not bad" shot to Leia in the arm.

Scene: The long pan around the Cantina
Blooper: The tall blue aliens with red eye are engaged in some sort of conversation/argument and you can plainly see the eyes of the actors inside of them. These same aliens have the wrong hands.

Scene: As Ben and Luke are heading for docking bay 94, they pass an Imperial spy who follows them.
Blooper: Among the creatures passing the camera (around the time the huge bird like legs pass in SE) is Greedo (passing from left to right) although he lay in a heap on the table in the cantina. There is another "zombie Greedo" in ROTJ same clothes. Maybe all Rodians dress the same?

Scene: Docking bay 324 the scanning crew boards the falcon
Blooper: Who shot? The shots were too muffled to be the stormtroopers and the armor was intact.

Scene: Death Star Briefing Room
Blooper: Vader says, to Tarkin, "Her resistance to the mind probe is considerable. It will be some time before we can extract any information from her." Tarkin says, "Perhaps she will respond to an alternate form of persuasion." Vader who had been looking the other way turns and say "What do you mean!?" as he turns the light from the camera catches the eye covers of the helmet and you can see David Prose inside Darth Vader.

Scene: Death Star Briefing Room
Blooper: A voice comes over the comlink and says "Our scout ships have reached Dantooene they found the remains of a rebel base but they have estimated that it has been deserted for some time." Tarkin then says, "She lied! She lied to us!!!" Vader still siting down says, "I told you she would never consciously betray the rebellion." He then gets up and shakes his fist at Tarkin to the rhythm of, "I told you she would never consciously betray the rebellion."

Scene: Death Star docking bay 324 Control Room
Blooper: The droids have locked them selves in a storage room off in the corner. Smoke and sparks poor from the door as the troopers blast it open. The trooper on the left of the screen in about the third row smacks his head on the low door producing a loud smack this knock him down and it actually works well because another stormtrooper says "see to him" intending to the dead officer on the floor

Scene: Ben is in the control center for the tractor beam
Blooper: It says "tractor beam" that's the only place in the trilogy where text is readable in English.

Scene: Vader tells Tarkin that the Falcon just made the jump to Hyperspace.
Blooper: As we see Han and Leia argue in the cockpit on board the Falcon, it is clear that they are in normalspace (just look at the stars)

Scene: When the Death Star plans are being downloaded from Artoo.
Blooper: The Death Star's super-laser focusing lens appears on the equator on the read-out screen when it really is located on the northern hemisphere of the Death Star.

Scene: The entire Battle of Yavin
Blooper: Everyone's microphones keep changing sides

Scene: after the failed Y-wing run at the Death Star

Blooper: "gold 3 to Red leader" "copy gold leader"

Scene: Yavin 4 hanger
Blooper: Luke gets out of his X-wing Leia comes running towards him he yells "Carrie!" to Leia (who is played by Carrie Fisher)

Scene: Leia is running after Han trying to get him to stay on Hoth "You're a great help to us, you're a natural leader!"
Blooper: After Leia finishes you can see and hear him spin around to face her. The next scene he spins again to say "No! That's not it. Ahh? *point* huh? huh?"

Scene: The shield doors are ordered closed.
Blooper: You see a shot of Chewie and the doors are closing. A shot of Leia then back to Chewie and the doors start to creek close with sound this time.

Scene: 2nd shot out the Falcon's window in the asteroid field
Blooper: The 2nd asteroid from left to right in the upper left corner is a potato.

Scene: Vader is using the Force to hurl debris at Luke on Cloud City
Blooper: Luke's an idiot! He's trying to chop at the junk! He can't hit the broad side of a bantha with that thing but yet he manages not to get killed while fencing with the Dark Lord of the Sith! Even if he did hit anything he would create two pieces of shrapnel to hit him! May as well try to duck and dodge all of it.

Scene: Artoo fixes the hyperdrive, finally.
Blooper: The jolt of going into hyperspace sends artoo flying into the hyperdrive motivator access pit, on top of Chewbacca. Since artoo is made of heavy plasteel he must be several kilograms. You would have heard poor Chewbacca scream. If he had been knocked unconscious he would have been in the med suit with Luke in the end scene getting his brains pumped full of bacta.

Scene: Outside Jaba's Palace
Blooper: Artoo beeps and Threepio tells him "Of course I'm worried, and you should be too Lando Calrisian and poor Chewbacca never returned from this awful place." Then later Chewie and Leia show up to save Han and Chewie had to return from there to come back in.

Scene: Jabba's Palace, while Artoo is playing Luke's message for Jabba.
Blooper: One scene is played backwards. You can see the smoke falling and the bubbles in the snack frog jar are falling too. The scene ends with Salacious Crumb.

Scene: Jabba is sentencing Luke Han and Chewie to death
Blooper: Bib Fortuna, Jabba's Twi'lek aid, gets something stuck in his teeth

Scene: Boba Fett lands, on the doomed skiff Luke Chewie Lando and Han were on, and draws his blaster
Blooper: If you play the scene in slow motion You'll see Boba's gun explodes before Luke's lightsaber come near it

Scene: The Jabba/Luke battle Luke jumps from one skiff to another and kicks someone in the face.
Blooper: He clearly doesn't make contact but gets a reaction.

Scene: The battle between Luke and Jabba Han is trying to grab Lando and pull him up
Blooper: Han is hanging from his knees then the next shot (right after the last one) by his feet barely.

Scene: Han is begging Lando to take the falcon to the battle of Endor
Blooper: Lando's bandoleer switches sides

Scene: Energy shield control bunker, the Imperials have entered and are about to capture the rebels.
Blooper: The guy who yells "freeze!" gets a pack of grenades chucked at him. He doesn't duck but he jumps!

Scene: The space battle the first cruiser is taken out by the Death Star
Blooper: All Mon Calamari cruisers are designed different but still all the cruisers taken out by the death star are exactly the same ship.

Scene: Throne room on the Death Star. Luke and Darth are fencing. Luke jumps onto a control thingie then does a Force enhanced back flip onto the railing
Blooper: Mark Hammil's stunt double is blond and Mark is sandy brown.
