This is the home page for a Mage chronicle I'm running. Most of the characters are Mages, but one of them is a Changeling, and one's, well, sort of an Immortal. :D

The concept for this game is fairly unique, I think. :) It started when I asked the group of friends that I role-play with one question: "If you were a Mage in the world of darkness, what would you be?"

Well, one thing led to another, and we decided to try playing a game wherein we were playing ourselves. Or, rather, idealized versions of ourselves. Some of us didn't think they would be mages, hence the Changeling, and an Immortal. :) There's more characters, but they won't be added until I get a chance to sit down with them and help them put themselves on paper.

The chronicle has just recently started, so there's not much of a storyline so far. I can give you a rundown of the characters.

Legacies

The Cast. . .

• Monica, an Orphan mage with Verbena leanings.
• Raven, a Cult of Ecstacy mage who appears to be the typical Cultist, but is anything but typical.
• Morgan, a former Hollow One, who finds herself drawn to the Jedi way of life more and more.
• Mike, a new member of the group, and an Akashic Brother
• Andrew, a young Son of Ether, who is always inventing the absurd.
• Caitlin, a Seelie Wilder Sluagh, who's actually pretty darn perky.
• John, a young man who has just recently discovered Immortality.

The strangest thing about the group is that they all knew each other before Awakening to their true natures. They had been friends for years, each hiding the fact that they were different from the others.

Then they were attacked one night by a group of Nephandi, and each one rushed to the aid of their friends. When the dust cleared, one of the Nephandi was dead, the others had fled, and the group of friends were left staring at one another in shock.

That's all that has been played right now, but I'm planning a lot more for my players.:::evil laughter rises from the Storyteller's mouth::: My players seem to be enjoying themselves so far.
