Earthdawn

Hi, I'm San, the Monster Princess. Welcome to the Earthdawn story page. Watch for my movie coming out this summer.

Log 1 "What do you mean we need water!!???"

There was a report of two Adapts going off in search of a missing friend. I believe the duo was lead by a man named Magnus. If memory serves me correctly, Magnus (elementalist) and Corona (sword master) went off in search of a old friend by the name of Calista. She was last seen leaving Sky Point heading North with an air ship or two of escaped slaves. Now even though it was many years later, they went off in search of Calista by themselves. After going through a dense jungle and loosing their horses to man eating plants, they headed off into the desert. (Without desert survival gear) With enough food and water to last a month or so, they "bravely" headed in a northwest direction. After weeks of searching, they finally reached their half way point with their supplies, bravely they decided to press on in hopes of finding an oasis or even a town. (BTW I wonder if they bothered ask if anyone about how large the desert was.) Anyway, just before they were about to run out of food and water, Magnus decided to summon an Air Elemental to try and fly them to safety (I wonder if they bothered to check to see if the area was cursed) Even though he had an uneasy feeling about summoning the elemental he still cast it. Now this is where the reports get kinda sketchy he either provoked the attack or he was just outright attacked by the air elemental. Before he could react, he was enveloped in a vortex and became deaf and blind due to the extreme pressures inside. When the bodies were finally recovered, it appears that they somehow managed to survive the elemental, but it looks like the died from a combination of exposure and dehydration.

Log 2 "That's something you don't see every day, a flying troll"

A wandering bard told a tale of a group of Adapts who were on a mission to find out what happened to some missing villagers north of Thrull. Apparently he was going through this forest filled with fog and saw their fire and headed toward them. Before he could reach them he noticed that the camp was surrounded by a group of creatures (he could not verify what they were because there was nothing left of them after the fight) anyway two adapts quickly jumped into the fog to attack the creatures. The others not sure of what to do huddled together for a few moments. Wanting to help them he drew his sword, but before he stepped forward, he saw this big troll throw this small box it flew into the forest and hit a tree. Suddenly there was a loud explosion and a large wall of fire raced toward the adapts. Now he admits that he did not see everything that happened next because he himself was forced to take cover from the blast, but he did see a sight he thought he never would see before. A flying Troll. After the blast went past him, he walked around the blast zone and the only thing he found was three adapts lying on the ground naked over fifty feet away from where they were before. It looks like they even knocked some trees down along the way. He tried to find the troll, but he could not find him. He must have landed farther away then he thought.

Log 3 "Have you ever seen a flying, burning mage? Not a pretty sight."

There was once a mage by the name of Magnus the Fred (no relation to the "Goodberry" Fred) he was trying to rescue some wrongly kept prisoners from the Black Reapers. The wagon ride was going smoothly until they came across a Black Reaper patrol. Poor Magnus tried to handle the situation all by himself and he tried to power up a spell. The Black Reaper's detected it and proceeded to attack him. Even though he was out numbered ten to one he fought bravely, until the Nethermancers weathered some of his limbs. Finally understanding what he was up against, he tried to fly away. Which was an ok plan until he was fireballed and then had his flight dispelled. Now to picture this correctly, imagine a burning mage falling ten or so feet with withered limbs crash to the ground. Valiantly, he got up, brushed himself off, made some recovery tests and started to fly again. One would think they would learn from their mistakes, but again he was fire balled, ice arrowed and had his flight dispelled. This time when he landed, he was bombarded with every type of energy attack they had in their spell matrixes. The prisoners were recaptured.
