McCammon wrote (he stopped a few years ago and recently published a new novell) fiction and thrillers in a breathtaking way. His 12 books are electrifying from the start to the last page. 'Never a dull moment' must be his motto. My favorites are Swan Song, The Wolf's Hour and Mine. With the end of his writing, McCammon asked fan pages to go down, but there stil is some info left:
Terry is not only famous for his humorous Disc World novels, but he is one of the very few who used to discuss his work in his own newsgroup. Valuable information on his novels was obtained through his contibutions to alt.fan.pratchett. See the most complete fanpage at Lspace.
I met Terry at a signing session at the Fantasy Fair 2001 in the Archeon in Alphen aan den Rijn!
All time high: Blade Runner (1982), with Harrisson Ford and Rutger Hauer. The film is based on the book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep", written by Phillip K. Dick. The film has a dark atmosphere and the plot is very strong: a human android slayer (Ford)falling in love with an android (Daryl Hannah) and a wreckless android (Hauer)falling in love with live, in a strong play.
BBC started this serie in 1988, based on the book of Grant and Naylor. Since then I taped all series of this hilarious TV-show (I only missed the last episode of series VIII :-(). There is a lot of stuff on Red Dwarf on the net.
