Alfalfa - Good for fractured bones, osteoporosis, and especially arthritis.

Allspice - Make a tea of 1-2 teaspoons powdered allspice per cup boiling water for upset stomach.

Aloe Vera - Good for burns, cuts, bedsores, and hemorrhoids. Protective.

Angelica - Helps relieve colds, flus, bronchitis, arthritis, and digestive disorders. The scent is also an energy booster.

Anise - Helps cure coughs, bronchitis, asthma, digestive problems. To use, crush 1 tsp. anise seeds per cup boiling water, steep 10 min.

Basil - Eliminates internal parasites, acne (when the oil is applied to the skin), and is a natural pain killer. Brings wealth when carried in a wallet or purse.

Bayberry - For a sore throat remedy, use 12 drops extract as a tea with water, and gargle then swallow it.

Bay Laurel - Burn bay leaves for internal cleansing. Magickal protectant, also used in purification.

Black Cohosh - Good for menopausal and menstrual discomfort, high blood pressure, and can slow prostate cancer.

Caraway - Good for use as a digestive aid.

Catnip - Digestive aid, helps soothe menstrual cramps, mild sedative, as a mild antibiotic, lowers fevers, cures head and body aches. Attracts good luck and kindly spirits when grown in the home. Good in beauty, love spells.(Kitty loves it, too!!)

Celery Seed - Use as a diuretic.

Chamomile - Digestive aid, good to prevent and cure ulcers, soothes menstrual cramps, as a tranquilizer, can help arthritis pain, as a mild muscle relaxer, as a hot compress on minor cuts and scrapes (as a mild antibiotic), and as a immune stimulant. Attracts money, good for gamblers.

Cinnamon - Burn to calm and relax, prevents infection on minor cuts and scrapes, relieves pain on minor cuts and scrapes, as a digestive aid, as a love herb **WARNING** Cinnamon oil can cause skin irritation, and can, if ingested in excess, can cause miscarriage in pregnant women.

Clove - As a breath freshener, oral anasthetic, a digestive aid, a love herb

Corriander - Good for indigestion, flatulence, diarrhea, good for external joint and muscle aches, as a love herb.

Dandelion - Good for PMS, weight loss, high blood pressure (Use leaves for all the previous), can help yeast infections (Throw a handful of the leaves into your bathwater)

Dill - Good for use as a digestive aid, a gas remedy, inhibits the E. coli bacteria

Echinacea - Excellent for use as an infection fighter, an immune system booster, may have anti-inflammatory agent to help with arthritis, and may be used as a wound healing agent..Strengthens spells, enhances beauty.

Eucalyptus - Loosens phlegm, kills influenza, also kills some bacteria. Good for the treatment of minor cuts and scrapes. . Strengthens spells and enhaces beauty.

Fennel - Digestive aid.

Frankincense - Cleanses the aura when burned. Good for purification and consecration.

Garlic - Powerful antibiotic, helps lower cholesterol, good for excorsism.

Goldenseal - Cleanses blood, good for acne and skin disorders. Is a good antibiotic and immune stimulent. Stengthens spells and is excellent in healing rituals.

Honeysuckle - Money, protection and psychic powers

Hyacinth - love, happiness, protection. When used in sachets, it can help ease cild-bearing pains. In love mixtures, the dried flowers are used.

Hyssop - Protection and purification. When burned, it releases dragon energy, and is excellent for consecration and purification.

Ivy - Healing and protection, luck for women, also used in love charms.

Jasmine - Love, prophetic dreams, money. The dried flowers are used in sachets and love mixtures for spiritual love. The oil can be used as a perfume to attract a lover.

Lavendar - Love, peace, happiness, purification, longevity, sleep and chastity. Typically used in love sachets, and usually to attract men, the oil can also be worn as a mate-attracting perfume. Can be used in ritual purification baths, as well. When it is smelled, it is conducive to happiness and longevity (Be sure to sniff it as much as possible! :o) It is also used in healing.

Lemongrass - Lust, love, repels snakes, psychic powers.

Lemon Verbena - Love and purification. It is worn to make oneself more physically appealing to the opposit sex. It is also used in purification baths.

Lilac - Good for exorcism and protection.

Lily - Excellent for breaking love spells - usually, they are worn for this purpose. Also good for protection.

Mallow - Protection, love and exorcism. To help retrieve a lost love, put some mallow flowers in a vase, and place them in a window or outside your house.

Marjoram - Love, happiness, health, protection, money.

Mint - Lust, money, healing, exorcism, protecion, travel.

Mugwort - Healing, strength, psychic powers, protection, prophetic dreams, astral projection. Frequently used to cleanse magickal tools, especially crystals (ie. balls, wands, points, etc.) and is often used in lust rituals. This is one of the, if not the, most frequently used herb in witchcraft.

Myrrh - Purification, healing, spirituality, exorcism. When burned, myrrh is excellent for purifying an area, or consecrating and cleansing tools. It also aids meditation and creates a sense of peace in a room where its burned.

Nutmeg - Health, luck, fidelity, money.

Orris - Love, protection, divination. It is generally used to find and hold love.

Patchouli - Lust, fertility, money. It can be added to love sachets and baths, and attracts males OR females and promotes lust.
