On to the topic at hand! Well, to introduce this, all I have to say is that I thank the list for inspiration! Especially the list-sib who asked that first fatal question; "What are your top five faves?" Yes, this part of the page is dedicated to the list (again!) for all their great ideas, and info (like how Vanyel is pronounced "VAHN-yel" and not "VAN- yle" (rhymes with "Daniel"), or "Van-YELL". Info from Ms Lackey herself! Though the listsib that contributed that bit of info heard Misty pronounce it as "VAN-yle" too...)

Alright. The Misty Awards were based loosely on the Grammys, the Tonys, the Oscars, the Emmys, and other what-have-yous like that. Basically, we vote for a character that we feel fits the category the most. We first nominate the characters, I sort them out, the top fives with the most number of nominations go to the next round. At the next round, more voting occurs,and I sort them out again. Winners are presented on this page. By the Way, since I count the polls, I don't get to vote. Shucks!
Voting takes place once a year (I hope! This was the pioneer year). Nominations may be sent in to me via Email or posted through this form. Nominations begin on the 1st of June, Ends on the last day of June. Semi-Finals begin on the 1st of July, ends on 15th of July. And the Finals begin on the 16th of July, ends on the last day of July. Results are posted up within the next week.
