Speed Racer-Known as Go Mifune in Japan. Age :18 Son of Pops and Mom Racer. Drives the MACH 5. This young racer is always getting into trouble. He ususally is fending off spies or some other rogues and all this while trying to win a race!
Pops Racer-Age: About 42 This is the man who made the MACH 5 he put all kinds of hard work into making it the best car on and off the race track. At one time he was unhappy about Speed's decision to start racing so young (always telling the story of Speed's long lost brother, Rex) He eventually came to accept it.
Racer X-Age About 24 This is a mysterious masked racer who always offers some words of wisdom to Speed. Little does Speed know, it's his older brother Rex that ran away after being scolded by Pops after wrecking his experimental car in a race when he was 18.
MACH 5-Speed's car of choice. Built by Pops, this car can do almost anything from beating the Car Acrobatic Team to going underwater. It is possibly the fastest car in the world. It also has buzzsaws, homing devices, an many other extras.
Trixie-Age 17 Speed's girlfriend. She is always around to help when needed although it is not known exactly how close the relationship between Speed and Trixie is.
Mom Racer-Age: About 40. Mom is the better side of Speed's parents. A kind hearted lady, she usually is trying to calm Pops down, especially after Speed has entered a race without him knowing!
Spridle Racer-Age: 9. Spridle is Speed's youngest brother. Spridle idolizes Speed. In fact he wants to be just like Speed. He is always sneaking onto the Mach 5 during Speed's adventures and usually ends up coming in handy.
