Xibalba: Southern Domain of the Northern Pass |
Given to his childer Jaden as a gift the lands of Xibalba are aptly named for they are perhaps truly the pathway to hell itself. Bordering the other lands of B'raxis this southern region of the Northern Pass is full of the darkest of nightmares which Jaden's mind can summon forth. Death lurks within the boundaries of Xibalba and with it the stench of decay which sweeps over the forests of this area. The roads which run from the other lands of B'raxis into the depths of Xibalba on their way to Dravel are some of the safest roads to travel upon due to the Garou guarding them, however the rancid stench of the dead which seem to be drawn to the darkness of Jaden tend to overwhelm those who would traverse its paths. Guarded by the darkness within Jaden's heart, this ruler of demons and of the dark shadows uses the realm to terrify those who would trespass through the kingdom of the Northern Pass. This tactic tends to serve Jadens fancy, and unbeknownst to him serves Khayman's purposes as well... the less people try to enter his kingdom and nose about the better the affairs in his kingdom go. Also the web of information from the dead and shadows which can travel nearly instantly from one point in the domain to another point is a most valuable asset to the most ancient of Kindred, Khayman. His son's kingdom thrives but not in the measures of most people, instead it thrives on shadows from the depths of the forest, and souls from the dead that passed away on this land during the wars between the Hunzial and the house of Starthra, both things empowering not only Jaden but Khayman as well. A most valuable source of power for the kingdom of the Northern Pass even though unconventional it is still a prosperous adventure for the ruler of the lands Jaden and his father Khayman. Xibalba without a doubt lives up to the namesake that its ruler has given it, a gateway to hell for only through Xibalba can one pass into the Northern lands of his father and that if anything would surely be if nothing else hell. |
