Rules and Regulations of the Akhayee |
Welcome to the Clan Akhayee, as your guide to the realm of kindred let me be the first to congratulate you on your newfound family. There are few rules governing the Akhayee, and the ones we have are simple to the experienced rper.... for the less experienced newcomers however, do not feel discouraged, we will guide you and quickly speed your rp growth. |
Rules of RP |
Below are a list of guidelines for the realms in which we play, even if they differ from those realms of play I would rather for us to be iggied than break the rules set by our common standards... however the guidelines we have set should be welcomed in almost all rp fields of play: 1. Standard fighting style and rp style for all Akhayee is T1... for those of you who have never experienced T1 it is a paragraph form of RP in which fight sequences or magic usage requires a preparatory paragraph, this paragraph needs to detail the summoning of the power and what it's capabilities are. Then a response or action from your opponents can be made... this is a requirement before you can continue on with the sequence. After the opponents action you may release the power upon him, the opponent is then given a reaction para in which he may perform whatever action he wishes, only one magic action or one physical action is allowed per turn unless you have a power which allows for more physical actions... i.e.. Celerity. This is the basic fighting sequence which we follow and is standard for any display of powers, all para's must be at least 3 lines in length and may go up to your line limits...this is known as T1 story or T1 turnbased. 2. To further the abilities and progression of characters with experience as in all role playing games a point system has been worked out 2 points will be awarded for each day ( 3 hours of rp time is required to fulfill a day, but no more than 2 points in a 24 hour time period). These points may be accrued and saved for each week of game play, to upgrade your character sheet you must e-mail the changes and point cost to me for validation of changes every Sunday, as well as pass on to me your new accrued points, if you do not then you will receive no points for that week... honesty will be required for these turn ins per week, and monitoring of those points will be followed carefully. This is so that we as characters may develop into something more than what we are. 3. All characters falling under Akhayee rule will be required to have a character sheet accessable via there profiles, those character sheets should fall into the accordance of whitewolf game systems... this includes Werewolf the Apocalypse, Vampire the Masquerade, or Mage the Ascension... a period of 90 days will be given to all persons who are accepted into the Akhayee realms to fulfill this obligation. Failure to do so will mean eviction from the realms until compliance is meet... ( Vampires may use Belladona's System for creation of characters at http://www.sanguinus.com/p10003.shtml ) 4. Posts of deaths require at least two witnesses and a copy of the battle sequences must be e-mailed to Khayman_darkchild@ yahoo.com for acceptance, any death validated by Khayman is non reversable and final, if the death is invalid the party requesting validation will recieve a return mail stating why, if it is valid, then the death will be recorded in the morgue section of the homepage... for a death to be reviewed a return e-mail must be given, and the names of two witnesses must be present... If you are killed by another person within the realms the same sequence must be followed and your death will be reviewed 5. All magic items should be sent for review to Khayman_Darkchild for approval if they were not made in the realm. If they are determined to be too powerful we will release alterations for said items to whomever sent in the items description. If the alterations are ignored said magic item will break upon its first witnessed usage in Terra Sol. Items made in gameplay will be considered legal in nearly every circumstance. Creation of magical items may be done in one of 2 methods: Method 1. Said item must be created <forged> and have enchantments placed upon it, then the following day of RP a binding spell must be cast upon said item to hold the enchantment to the specified item. This process will take 2 days of rp time to fulfill and for each subsequent power added to the item add 2 more days. (i.e. a sword with soul absorption capabilities and the power to turn the living to undead would require 4 days of rp time to create.) Method 2. Collecting magical items to create a super item is another way to enhance rp... to create aforementioned item a player must collect said items and place a binding spell upon them to hold their powers to them. Then said player may reforge them into another item thus joining their powers into a singular item. After reformation said item must have a hold spell cast upon it to seal the powers into the newly formed items, this process will take 2 days of rp. Limitations/Shortcuts: Using Method 1 no more than 2 enchantments may be placed upon an item per 2 day time period, using Method 2 no more than 2 items may be placed together per 2 day time period. This allows for faster item creation yet still regulates the total creation time for superior magical items creation. 6. As with all things attendance is important to the development of a storyline and for the development of character interaction, brief lapses of rp time will be excusable however if you are planning on missing more than a two weeks hiatus of time you should inform Khayman at the aforementioned e-mail of the time you will be off and reasons for the leave of absence. We will not remove your character from the game play, however they shall be removed from the active duty list and their position will be removed and passed on if they held a title or responsibility within the Clan until your return and clarification of position has been remedied. Thank you for all of the cooperation in making the Akhayee what they are, a respectable family / Clan with all of the intricacies of a true family. I do appreciate all of the help and cooperation I have received over the creation of the Akhayee and wished to thank you the players for all of your interest. You have made this family a wonderful experience. With Greatest Thanks, Khayman_Darkchild (Travis) |
