As I look at the stars

By Josh Winters

As I look at the stars far,far away,
I wonder if we will ever go away.

I see a shotting star pass by,
My dreams and emotions are as big as the sky.

I see where we are; I seen where we've been,
And I tell myself it's worth it again and again.

To share our love everlasting, so real,
A bond that is so tight so true I feel.

This bond will carry day after day,
If our minds ever wonder they won't go astray.

AS I Wish upon That shooting star,
I remember how we both came from afar.

With open arms, minds, and souls,
To share our lives, our dreams our goals.

With all the rest of our lives to share,
We might sometime clash but we'll always be there.

If we use our hearts to beat as one,
We have eternity to share and have fun.

As I wish upon that shooting star,
I remember how we both came from afar.

Two different worlds totally apart,
Just wanting to make a brand new start.

So as I see that shooting star pass by,
I look to myself as I look to the sky.

As I see it fade away into the night,
I knew my dreams came true on that Saturday night.

As I say once again from the bottom of my heart,
Tomorrow is a new day, I love you sweetheart.

Your always on my mind,
