The History of Kajira Training

Kajira Training began three years ago as a channel on IRC Dalnet as a private home where girls could share hints, tips and gossip out of the hearing range of the Free. It quickly grew beyond the bounds of what it was intended for as girls from all the nets started to flock to us begging help in one thing or another. Sometimes it was hints on how to write a dance or just an understanding ear when their emotions overwhelmed them and they needed to hear that they weren’t the only ones. That other girls had been down the same path and felt the same burning desires.

Over time we became as you now see us. A teaching channel devoted to sharing information with girls new to Gor that might wander into "disney" channels and hear a romanticized view of what they had found. The girls that devoted their time to Kajira Training had hoped to share their own past and their own lessons with those who might need to hear them and so relive them themselves. Somehow we ended up with the project of trying to clear up misconceptions and misinformation that had been produced on other pages that supposedly "taught" the way things should be.

This web page is the sum total of that work. Of years of research and rereading and straining our eyes to try to find the right messages within the books that we all cherished. Of trying to find a bridge between the world of books and the world of reality. Many of us involved in this project lived the Lifestyle real life though some of us didn’t. We do not judge you no matter your path and choices so I beg you not to judge us.

Two girls come to mind when I think of those that have taught within the Channel. The first is fyree, a devoted friend and one that I came to love very much. I can remember with a smile the nights we would sit up together, pencils in our hair, trying to find quotes and information to hand out to others who had asked for it. The second is synx who is more like me than any person should have the right to be. She was a devoted chainsister, a loving confidant and a true friend when I desperately needed one. Thank you both for coming into my life, I will always cherish you.
