William Everett Culbraith was a Confederate Army officer who ran the Andersonville prison in 1864. William encountered Duncan MacLeod while Duncan was trying to help some slaves escape. In 1996 he bumps into Duncan again and blames him for the death of his wife and step children who were killed in a fire set by the Union. Before they could fight, Richie stopped them both because he want's Immortals to live in harmony. William goes and see this messenger that Richie learned the harmony stuff from and beheads the messenger. Richie arrives after the beheading and beheads Williams as a result.
