The Sailor Starlights are from the planet Kinkomu.  They came to Earth in search of their princess, Princess Kakyuu.  Here on Earth the Starlights pose as male pop rock idols.  They are known as the Three Lights.  When they henshin they change into the Sailor Starlights.  Seiya is Sailor Star Fighter, Taiki is Sailor Star Maker, and Yaten is Sailor Star Healer.        Luna and Artemis are the sailor senshi's cat gaurdians.  They were loyal servants to Queen Serenity during the Silver Millennium.  Luna belongs to Usagi/Sailor Moon and Artemis belongs to Minako/Sailor Venus.  In the 30th century they have a daughter named Diana.  Diana belongs to Chibi-Usa/Sailor Chibi Moon.  They help out the sailor senshi whenever they are in trouble.
