	26 december 2007 Image update soon...i know, i know... . 10 december 2007 ...yes its time... ernest @ 30 ernestfest involved a week of dinners, drinks, belly dancers and Morroccan food. thanks to all in case i can't remember. especially to that kind stranger who bought me that buttery nipple...it was one of that last things i remember from that night... . . . 11 november 2007 Monterey trip: didn't take images but did see Beth run 13 miles. Europe 2006 almost done and Rissa's wedding coming soon... . 17 september 2006 So, i went for a swim... Anyways, i got to relive a bit of my past not too long ago. On my way to Rissa's wedding i discovered an authentic Albertos. For me and my fellow UCI alumni, one of the nearby college haunts was the Alberto's in Coast Mesa. It is still there, but the chain seems to have broken up and it is now Alejandro's. Its kinda the same, however as with any change in ownership there are differences. A real Alberto's is rare - so i had to stop by, which i did the next day. Upon receiving my order for a carne asada burrito, i noticed they even used the Alberto's wrappers! ah, the memories of late night drives the night before a midterm... . 10 october 2006 Amazing how much time can pass...its like that speedracer on the freeway that passes you at 100mph. Of course there are times when you become that speedracer and pass the things you're used to travelling with. This blog seems to be that car in the far right lane you see your rear-view mirror. The extra slow one...not the semi, the car behind it... i'll try to add some source of wisdom tomorrow...i'm off to swim or something... . 16 august 2006 new layout for the image section, i like it much better now... CHS 10 year reunion online...Europe 2006 in progress. . 12 june 2006 ok, so this is a little late... Best parts: - Buying music in Berlin. - Spending Independance Day in Edinburgh with a fellow American (Mat). - Mercedes-Benz Museum, Stuttgart (by UN Studio!) - Watching the final games of the World Cup with Alex in Stuttgart and celebrating afterwards! - Learning German fight songs for futbol (see above). Worst parts: - Discovering that many places in Germany still do not take credit card, especially important when all you have are Swiss Francs (note: always have Euros handy). - Realizing that it has been a while since i've seen some of the people from the trip... - Leaving again for home, this commute to Europe was all too brief... - Barely getting on the plane in JFK to LA, with minutes to spare (at least i made it this time) . 01 july 2006 Best parts (supplemental): - Spending time with Beth as we walk around Berlin. Oddly enough its was more convenient to see her in Germany than in the U.S. - Watching the Germany/Argentina game in Berlin when Germany wins (also, see below). Worst: - Not finding the Dutch Embassy! - Watching the end of the Germany/Argentina game in the airport terminal because i missed my flight to London... . 30 june 2006 greetings from Berlin! Best parts of my trip so far: - Having a drink at London's Ice Bar, hovering at a wonderful negative 5°C. - Riding on the back of a Vespa through Berlin at night. (Thanks Sacha!!!) - Having a home cooked meal at my cousin's flat. Strangest part so far: - Did i ever mention London's plumbing system? - Discovering that they have Krisy Kreme in London...and Subway(sandwiches) in Berlin. Worst part: - Major fire at Charing Cross Station, which halted all surface rail from the station, including my express train to Luton Airport... . . . 04 june 2006 Good-night! good-night! as we so oft have said Beneath this roof at midnight, in the days That are no more, and shall no more return.
