Testing a basic assumption, I did indeed confirm that firelizards either cannot or will not swim. I, however, LOVE the water... leading them to the waters edge, I happily slipped off the shelf and tredded water. They hissed, got bored, and turned their backs. Which is when I lunged in and comboed one to lizard bits.
I guess I could have stopped there... but I was on a roll. The same technique bagged me two more tongue. Victory was mine once more!
