Amendment II

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The right to bear arms in America has always been a controversial topic. The "arms" that is better known as the "gun" has
served itself well in the history of American defense and aggression. It has been blamed for countless incidences of societal
violence. Sadly, we are currently in a state of tragic incidence as children that aren't even old enough to drive bring these
weapons into the school ground to end the lives of thier classmates over petty arguments and short term grudges. The weight of
tragedies have attached itself to the guns' reputation, and have given pro-arms societies like the NRA a lot of pressure from
the suits in Congress. But can we really put this firearm under the label "tool of destruction"? Is this attempt to cast a
blame, another human fault for ignoring our own anger? Boiled down to the roots, the firearm is a weapon.

On that page, use the bottom timeline image and click on a year to read about gun development at that time. You may also just read through the page to read a chronological history of guns starting from the invention of gunpowder. Enjoy.
