Batman When his parents were killed, Bruce Wayne took a vow to avenge them. He promised to fight crime and protect the innocent, so no one would have to go through what he did. He travelled the world training to be the best athlete and best detective. Needing to strike fear in his enemies he wore the costume of a bat, and became Batman.

Robin After Tim Drake found out Bruce Wayne was Batman, he, Alfred and Nightwing persuaded Bruce to let Tim be Robin. He became the third Robin to fight crime with Batman. The first Robin became Nightwing, the second was killed by the Joker. After the second Robin's death, Batman feared that this one might have the same fate and trained him hard.

Alfred After the death of Bruce Wayne's parents, Alfred the butler took care of him and helped him on his path to becoming Batman. Alfred looks after Bruce Wayne's affairs so he can concentrate on his Batman jobs. Alfred training in field medicine allows him to help Batman and company when wounded.
