This file is a guide to the stories in the UF universe. The short story descriptions were done by a fellow UF Fan Twister. All of the canon UF stories are listed in the proper chronological order. All of these files can be found at Eyrie on the Net. From there you will find several subcategories:

The original saga by MegaZone, Gryphon, and ReRob followed the following order:

  1. UF1, Undocumented Features

    2. Description: Gryphon may not have realized that he would be creating life one day... but that's what happened. Unfortunately, when it's Kei and Yuri of the Lovely Angels (AKA The Dirty Pair), things just start getting downright abnormal. (Which considering the Wedge, is pretty darn abnormal.) Boomers appear to ruin the fun, but the Wedge Rats know how to party, high-tech and anime-style.
  2. UF2, The Long Road

    3. Description: The Wedge Rats have left Earth and wind up at the Utopia Planitia shipyards, where they learn the truth about themselves. Given the new ship SDF-17 (Robotech), they battle the forces of the HyperBoomer Largo. Megazone becomes injured in the conflict and when Gryphon reluctantly takes charge, he decides to take the battle to the enemy.
  3. Passion

    4. Description: After being though dead and found near death on the planet Acheron, Gryphon is rescued and brought to Asrial, Queen of Imperial Salusia, a long-time friend of the WDF. The WDF is not notified of his survival by his request, which puzzles Asrial until Gryphon tells the tail of his betrayal. Gryphon still lives, however, and to he who betrayed Gryphon... The Shadow knows!
  4. UF3, Out In the Cold

    5. Description: The SDF-17 appears near Worcester and Hell breaks loose in the conflict between the Wedge Defense Force and Largo. Megazone slips into Death's Door for a nice chat with Her. Will he recover? Or will he be changed forever along with the rest of the Wedge. Time passes and Laro still schemes to destroy the WDF. He succeeds using deception and evil plots. Will the WDF recover from the blow?
  5. Solitude

    6. Description: On the planet Quagmire, women are being murdered in such a way as to indicate the killer's real target is the Dirty Pair. That and the one million credits offered as bounty for the 'Ace of Hearts' attract MegaZone to the planet. After a bad scrape while scouting around, Vaughn arrives and helps Megazone out. Together, they plan to catch a killer. But most importantly...what are the ingredients of Succotash? (What?! Vaughn: Hmm? Oh, Sorry. Mind was wandering.)
  6. Ronin

    7. Description: Mega Tokyo, capital city of New Japan, is where Gryphon currently lives while hiding from his love, Kei of the Lovely Angels. He joined a mercenary group called the Knigh Sabers to fight Largo on this planet, but the death of one of the group's members, whom he loved, threaten to push Gryphon over the edge.
  7. Inception

    8. Description: Ambushed and drugged, a mysterious man (Gryphon if you hadn't guessed :) ) escapes his captors and winds up in a garbage bin to hide from them. Dazed, he jacks into a portable computer and unconsciously creates an A.I. Vision.
  8. On A Winter's Day

    9. Description: While working on a case, the Dirty Pair wind up chasing, or being chased by, a combat Buma. As the fight carries over to Salusia Tech, the Pair separate to search for the Buma. Yuri finds the Buma first, but also discovers Gryphon, who is fighting the cyberdroid. After destroying the buma, Gryphon flees so that Kei doesn't find him. Yuri tracks him down later to talk... and more.
  9. Heartbreak

    10. Description: Harland Valaquen was hired to do a job and is grudgingly paired with a Kryss Romes to 'help' him out. Not all is what it seems and betrayal hovers in the air... as well as reluctant love.
  10. Vengeance

    11. Description: Mr. Foreman's sins are coming home to roost and Gryphon wants to be the one doing the crowing. With the help of three friends, Larry, Curly, and Moe, who are of the reptile persuasion, he storms Foreman's stronghold.
  11. Altered Appleseed

    12. Description: Gryphon has been on the run for 66 years and for the last 7 he's been a part of the Olympus Police, currently ESWAT division. Unfortunately, Kei has tracked him down to this planet and draws Gryphon out. His friends, Deunan, Briaruos, and a newly arrived Vaughn, try to stop Gryphon from confronting Kei, but Gryphon wants to end it.
  12. Burnin' Out

    13. Description: ReRob and his family was just visiting to see his daughter Sylvia when Rob got an unusual job offer. The success of this mission complicates Sylvia's love life, but the problem is soon solved. Or is it?
  13. Secrets

    14. Description: After around 90 years, Gryphon finally might have a chance of clearing his name. Returning back to his own universe, along with a Federation starship, he crashlands on Tantalus IV as a result of dodging Kei's efforts to kill him. However, someone in the prison seems to be Gryphon as well. Will the truth com out at last?
  14. Type Mismatach Error

    15. Description: Both captured by Cardassians and put into cells, amiable Kaemar Runtt and sarcastice Rhita Te'Lara manage to forge a brief friendship together even though thery are unable to see each other. Will they escape from the Cardassians? Even if they do, will something else break their friendship?
  15. UF4, Crossroads

    16. Description: A hundred years have past, bringing new friends and revealing the truth behind Largo's manipulations. Gathering up the Wedge Defense Force again, Gryphon, MegaZone, ReRob, Kei, Yuri, and others reunite to battle Genom Corporation and Largo in a titanic clash of armadas. The REAL truth about the UF universe is revealed to the WDF.

So much for the original saga. But you have to expect that with a few hundred years to kill, someone is going to have some kids. Well, those kids grew up and now there is Undocumented Features: Future Imperfect:

  2. Phoenix

    3. Description: Still hurt by the loss of his wife, Deedlit, ReRob tries out flying with the Eight-Balls, but makes a bad call and leaves the group. Still... he does come up with a plan to quickly end the current military standoff and proposes it to Gryphon.
  3. New Beginnings

    4. Description: No dire plots and no wicked villians here! Finally, after four hundred years (talk about decision time or what!) Gryphon and Kei tie the knot. (Yes, MARRIED, you know...man and wife?) Most of our friends in the WDF come to watch this blessed and long overdue event.
  4. Days of Miracle and Wonder

    5. Description: Ambushed, Kei is almost fatally wounded in the murder attempt and Gryphon is itching to find out who and why so he can have a little... chat with them. With PcHammer travelling with him and an ancient secret revealed, let evildoers beware! The Shadow knows!
  5. Proving Grounds: #include
  6. Checkmate
  7. Cybertron Dreams

    8. Description: Primus! The heirs to Gryphon, MegaZone, and the Dirty Pair's legacies have joined the WWWA and their mission to transport the Salusian ambassador become much, much more than they expected. Transformers thought dead return and herald the coming of something every Transformer on Cybertron fears more than anything in the universe. Unicron. May Primus protect us!
  8. Justice and Mercy

The UF saga has also inspired other authors to contribute to the universe. We, the original authors, enjoy these tales. All that we ask is that the authors ask before using the characters since most are real people and we don't want to have our friends get ticked with us...

PCHammer has contributed an ongoing tale, Hammer Time, to the universe. This story meshes well with the saga as presented above and shows some of the different aspects to the UF universe. The saga so far:

  1. Hammer Time, part 1

    2. Description: Martin Rose certainly wasn't prepared for the changes in his life when he entered that VERY large spaceship that had, rather permanently, ended his employment with Genom. Change they did, however, and hey, Wolfgang Amadeus Fahrvergnugen gave him an offer he couldn't refuse. Sooo.... IT'S HAMMER TIME!
    He meets lovely lady Noriko (Gunbuster), becomes a programmer for the WDF, and becomes the joker among the crew. Many years later, a war on Cybertron changes him far beyond anyone could have predicted.
  2. Hammer Time, part 2

    3. Description: Adjusting to the difficulties and strengths of the change done to him on Cybertron, Martin Rose tries to get on with a normal life. (PCHAMMER?!? NORMAL?! Yaright!) Noriko finds the change difficult to accept and leaves because of a a re-assignment. Alone now, Martion meets Eiko (A-Ko), someone who is also different in one similar way to Martin, and start going out together. Tragedy strikes the WDF, however, and both Eiko and Martin return to Utopia Planitia to decide on what to do next.
  3. Hammer Time, part 3

    4. Description: The two loves in Martin's life, Eiko and Noriko, stare daggers at each other over their mutual affections for PCHammer. While this goes on, two more WDF friends, Chris and Katie, arrive with their own considerable troubles. Eventually, the group decides to continue the WDF's work in small ways while Chris and Katie go to Meizuri for information about the scattered WDF. (see: The Universe according to Chris: Interlude-Visit to a Busy Planet) PCHammer and the rest go to help a planet which is having pirate problems.
    A simple case, but not to Martin's perceptive eyes.
  4. Days of Thunder: No Offense Taken

    5. Description: After helping the planet Funkotron from being a victim of a Genom 'hostike takeover', the newly named Thunder Force get ready to do an awesome concert to celebrate. Unfortunately, while Chris and Temper decide on what to do for their future, an assassin stalks the band.. but PCHammer is ready with a plan of his own.
  5. Days of Thunder: A Time to be Born, A Time to Die

    6. Description: Ninety years have passed since the break-up of the WDF, and the Thunder Force came into being under the leadership of Martin 'PCHammer' Rose. Tragedy strikes the Thunder Force and Martin is heartbroken over the loss. However, something unusual happens which may tear at his heart even more as the result causes him to disband Thunder Force.

We're very happy that one of the two authors who's fanfic originally inspired the UF crew has contributed a story to the universe. And did an extremely good job of it too. The author is Larry Mann (the other author is Ryan Matthews btw), and his story is:

  1. Soulsearch

    2. Description: Yuri had come to Earth to take some time off since her partner had finally found out the truth about Gryphon's frame-up. (Finally!) Larry 'R-Type' Mann, who by chance had met Yuri at the airport, saw a chance for confession to one he had indirectly wronged. When the hotel that Yuri was staying in becomes waterlogged, R-Type invites Yuri to his home. Both may find a release for their separate griefs together.
  2. Resolutions

    3. Description: New Year's day on the planet Niogi brings joy to everyone, except Kei. With a strung-out heart and guilty feelings over what she had done for the past 90 years chasing Gryphon, her falsely accused love, she tries to drink her sorrows away. Yuri, with the peace and confidence she gained from her stay with R-Type, comes around to comfort and support her partner in Ker's time of need.

Joining the growing cabal of UF authors is Chris Meadows, well known for his work with Robotech fanfic, such as The Misfold and the Robotech-Rifts crossover, RoboRifts. His tale is part of the continuity and it is:

  1. The Universe According To Chris

    2. Description: Twas a slow day for Chris and his two brothers as they got served by a friend at the local McDonalds, when forces unknown whisked them away. Chris knew that after arriving on an alien planet, entering a beanpole elevator, and most importantly, meeting the Dirty Pair, that they ween't exactly in Missouri anymore.
    All join up with the WDF with Chris dreaming of creating mechs of his own. During the time of his being a space-fighter pilot, he becomes good friends with Katie Tanner. and maybe soemthing more than just friends... given time.
  2. The Universe According To Chris, Part 2

    3. Description: Chris is now a fully qualified engineer and his relationship with Katie 'Temper' Tanner has deepened even further. The pair exoeruience several exciting moments together while serving on the WDF Flagship Wayward Son. Unfortunately, when dark times are about to arrive, a mission that teams them with the Dirty Pair leads to a great deal of pain for Katie and Chris. Will their relationship survive?
  3. The Universe According To Chris, Visit to a Busy Planet

    4. Description: After staying with PCHammer at the Utopia Planitia shipyards to recover from the breakup of the WDF, Chris and the now-Valkyrie Katie go to the WWWA headquarters to ask Yuri for any information about the scattered Wedge Defense Force. As Chris finds out before meeting Yuri, it's open season for WDF personnel. Especially ones of hihg ranlk... like himself.
  4. The Universe According To Chris, Visit to an Empty Planet

Joining the cabal of Eyrie Productions authors is Pearson Mui with a story that took quite a long time to write, but good things take time:

  1. Leap Years

    2. Description: Pearson volunteered to be an experimental subject for a course he was taking, but he didn't expect it involved time travel! Sent five years into the future and arriving on the SDF-17 Wayward Son, Pearson, dubbed 'Doc' by PCHammer, tries to find a place to fit in. He finds excitement, a career, and love as he does so, but he is destined to return to the past. Trying to avoid his past self, while no changing history, is a difficult task.
  2. Leap Years, Part Two
  3. Dimension Hopping: Not Quite Home

Another side story in the Undocumented Features universe is by a friend of ours, and former WPI student, Adam Johnson, aka pfloyd. It runs concurrently with UF3, during the 297 year gap in the middle of the story. It is:

  1. One Vision

    2. Description: Pfloyd had a bad case of homesickness, so he did the only thing he could do about it. Go back to Earth and find his love, Laura. With his new ship, installed with the AI Holly, he arrives in Earth orbit to begin his search. Will Laura accept him after two years of thinking he was dead... and will she join Pfloyd in space?

We encourage you to read, and hopefully enjoy, all of the stories in the UF universe. All of the authors welcome feedback of any kind.
