Halloween 2005</head>

2005 - Saturday, 10/29/05

Warning - there are a lot of photos, please give them time to load. Thank you!

Saturday is always the big day, and it was a big day for us! For the first time ever we pulled off a four-person costume with our friends Susie and Chad. It was Susie's idea to do Fruit of the Loom, so she got dibs on the purple grapes. Chad is the biggest person in our group so he got to be the apple. I called the green grapes which left poor Jon stuck with the stupid leaves. For those who are wondering, yes, the 4th guy in FOTL is leaves. He is not a pear or a pineapple or a banana or any type of fruit at all. He is a stupid pile of leaves. So, here we are...

You're under arrest!
A friendly policeman wanted to get his picture taken with us, so we took one on our camera too.

Here is a photo of the actual guys for comparison:

It is apparently hard to find pictures of these guys online so Jon made a collage.

And here are more of us...

You can't overlove your pink panties.

This is the only underwear store on State Street, so we took our photo by it.

We missed it!
Yes, the Underwear Party was Friday night and we were FOTL on Saturday, so we missed it! But I thought the marquee photo was appropriate with this group of photos.

Crappy!
We saw these guys Friday night but again I felt this photo was appropriate with our FOTL photos. They're only the crappiest grapes ever! Come on, they're wearing jeans! And they don't have an apple or leaves with them! They SUCK!

These guys need our help.
We saw these guys walking around in just their underwear and not much else. So we had to have our pictures taken with them.

Um...Jesus?
We saw this guy walking around carrying a cross. Actually, not really carrying, since it had a skateboard wheel on the bottom. I'm not sure what his intentions were with this costume but Jon thought it was neat so he took this picture.

Gwar rules!
I've never seen a Gwar group before! What a great idea! This was a really cool costume.

Hooray!!
Oh my freaking god! I LOVE Katamari Damacy! It is the best freaking video game ever!!! I was so excited to see that people dressed up as the Prince and Ichigo, and they did it so well too! They even have the presents on (the antennas on both, and the Prince has the scarf). If you have not played Katamari Damacy, why not!? It's only $20 (maybe less now that the sequel is out, which is also awesome) and don't tell me you don't have a PS2 because everyone on earth has a PS2. I was so very happy to see these people. Yay!! :)

Fuzzy Dice
Well, now I can say that I've seen a rearview mirror with fuzzy dice costume. Yeah.

I see you're drinking one percent. Is that because you think you're fat?
We saw many Napoleon Dynamites during the weekend but this one was the best. And he was the only one we saw with a Deb, who was pretty good too.

Puhpuhpuhplllllease!
We were thinking about dressing up as Roger and Jessica Rabbit. These people did an okay job although I think they did not make their own costumes.

Brrr!
They had stadium lighting up on the areas of State Street that normally sees Halloween Riots, and it was so damn bright out that these guys were pretending to be sunbathing. This was actually at about 10 PM and it was about 40 degrees out. Brrr!

Go Superdog, go!
I know it's stupid when people dress their pets up for Halloween, but I thought this pooch was kinda cute.

Grrr.
Jon took this photo. I'm like 100 percent sure he didn't make this costume but Jon was impressed nonetheless.

Rubber Ducky, you're the one!
Okay, as a small child I thought Ernie was the girl because they lived together and shared a bedroom. Is that weird? Ernie is pretty effeminate, and in this photo you can clearly see he has womanly hips too.

I think that's it, please come back next year!!
