Why Coca-Cola is Destined to Inherit the Earth

Is the destiny of the Coca-Cola company to inherit the Earth? There's no reason why not. Based in Atlanta, coke has been slowly spreading across the globe since 1865. Today it is a 150 billion dollar industry and is sold just about everywhere on the planet. Coke's ability to create a need for their product where none exists, its status as a symbol of freedom and peace, and its power to unify the different cultures of the world are the three main reasons for its success and eventual world domination.

To begin with, Coca-Cola has the ability to create a need for itself where none exists. It has done this all over the world. In France, Coke is gradually replacing wine as the beverage of choice. Many who once poured themselves a glass of fine wine with their dinner now reach for an ice cold Coke instead. In Africa, numerous people now prefer Coca-Cola to their traditional drinks. There are some who make a 15 hour journey just to get a coke. Finally, in South America, Coke has become the holy water of the Mayan Indians. It is used in various religious rituals, replacing a drink used for centuries before the arrival of Coke. All of these places were fine before Coke came, and had no necessity for a dark bubbly beverage. Coke created that necessity. This ability to make a product necessary to the people of the world is one of the main reasons that coke will eventually inherit the Earth.

Not only is Coke one of the most popular drinks on the face of the Earth, but it is also a symbol of freedom and peace. The Coca-Cola company sponsors many international sporting events. Its banner is shown all over the world, making it an emblem of cooperation between nations. Coke was also present when the Berlin Wall fell. It will be forever associated with that historic event, enhancing its status as a symbol of peace and freedom. Furthermore, Coke is seen around the world as the drink of America, one of the most liberal countries in the modern world. It's association with America makes coke into a symbol of freedom. Coke's status as a symbol of freedom and peace is another reason that it will inherit the world.

Finally, Coke is a unifying force worldwide. It brings people together and gives people something familiar wherever they go. Coke is sold all around the world. One of the goals of the coca cola company is to make coke only an arms length away from anybody anywhere. It has come pretty close to accomplishing that goal. As well, coke was the official sponsor of the 1996 Olympics. The Olympics is an event that brings people from around the world together. Because of its relationship with the Olympics, Coke is also seen as something that brings people together. By bringing people together, coke has become a unifying force around the world.

It is a little known fact that Coca-Cola also groomed former United States Presidents as Eisenhower (pardon my spelling, Im Canadian, and have now idea how to spell 'Eisenhower') and Richard Nixon. And hey, you've got to admit, if a soft drink company can get a guy like Nixon elected, they can do just about anything.

In conclusion, Coke's ability to create a need for itself, its position as a worldwide symbol of peace and freedom, and its power to unite the people of the world are the main reasons why the Coca-Cola company's destiny is to inherit the earth. After all, if a company has the power to make a drink popular to all the different people of the world, what else can it do?
