An alien starship crashlands on Earth and is happened upon by two ordinary humans. Exploring the vessel, they find the super computer known as Etheral Dormax VI. After reprogramming the computer, now known as "Ethel", Steve and Cliff fly off on intergalactic misadventures every weekend (and sometimes holidays) to distant worlds and unknown dimensions and by Monday, return to everyday normal life in time for work (Hey it happen) .
