Electronic Voice Phenomena, EVP, or Spirit Recording, is where you record a strange sound that is not heard during the recording. It could be the sound of a ghost picked up by the recorder that was simply too high of a frequency for the ear to hear. The best way to do it is to ask for a message and sit unmoving near the tape recorder for about 5 min. Sometimes it takes a while to get anything to come through. You can do this anywhere, but you will want to do it somewhere it is quiet so not to pick up a lot of background noise. I presently only have one example of an evp file. If you have any please send them to me. It was inadvertently recorded in an old church in downtown Baltimore during an audition. It was submitted to me by JKC. You can also listen to it slowed down in reverse. It seems to make more sense that way. You decide is it a ghost?
