Colonel White Colonel White is assisted by Lieutenant Green, a young African American, who is in charge of dispatching missions, and the Angel Interceptors. By the way, Lieutenant Green, was one of the first marionettes of color in a leading roll. The Interceptors are the Fighter/Attack aircraft that are stationed on Cloudbase. They are single seat jet fighters capable of a top speed of 3,000 M.P.H. They are the main strike aircraft of Spectrum. Three are always on the aerial launch platform on Cloudbase H.Q. The ANGEL INTERCEPTORS are piloted by a group of women known as "ANGELS". COLONEL WHITE, On the land are special agents, and thier forces. Leading them is CAPTAIN SCARLET, There are other agents, as well as enlisted men that make up the Spectrum force. Some of the other agents are; CAPTAIN MAGENTA, CAPTAIN OCRE, CAPTAIN BROWN, and many others. CAPTAIN BLACK, Some of the Mars Mission film footage used in the pilot episode of Captain Scarlet, was originally used in the Thunderbirds T.V. series which featured the "ZERO-X" spaceship. The Mysterons are sworn to avenge the destruction of their base. They will try anything to destroy the Earth, or it's important leaders.

The leader of the Spectrum team is Colonel White, who is stationed on Cloudbase. CLOUDBASE is sort of like a hovering aircraft carrier. Click the link above to see a picture of Cloudbase.

From Tokyo, the daughter of a wealthy flying taxi owner. Growing up with flying she became an enthusiastic member of the Tokyo flying Club and flew around the world non stop, breaking all records. Harmony is a sports fanatic and spends a lot of her spare time teaching Karate and Judo to her fellow Angels.
From London, she graduated from University with degrtees in law and sociology. A personal friend of Lady Penelope, (Britain's top secret agent), she started her own airline company and became an expert pilot as well as an undercover British spy. Spectrum had been watching her career with interest and asked her to become an Angel pilot.
From Paris, worked for both the World Army Air Force and the Intelligence Corps before being promoted to Commanding Officer of the new World Flight Squadron. Her flying, intelligence and leadership skills resulted in Spectrum making her leader of the elite Angels team on Cloudbase H.Q.
From Georgia, was always a "tomboy", she took up professional motor racing when she left school. Later she joined the World Army Air Force, displaying amazing courage and nerves of steel. Her amazing determination and flying ability led to an approach from Spectrum.
From Iowa, she is highly intelligent, attractive and an excellent pilot. She trained as a pilot for a special spy mission early in her career, fell in love with flying and joined Spectrum a few years later.
Supreme Commander-In Chief of the Spectrum Organization. He is English and highly educated with first class honors in computer science and navigation. He served with the World Navy and gained admiration and acclaim for his daring escapades, coolness under pressure and fine leadership. As a "cover up" story his retirement has been announced but in fact he has taken up commandership of Spectrum.
LIEUTENANT GREEN,
Born in Trinidad, he is Colonel White's right hand man at Cloudbase H.Q. Trained by the World Aquanaut Security Patrol, he was made sole commnader of communication installations at Spectrum prior to taking up his current role alongside Colonel White. He controls all of the computer systems which are the nerve center of Spectrum's Cloudbase H.Q.
Spectrum's number one agent because of his amazing ability to defy death and recreate himself upon destruction. Ruthlesley trained as a field combat soldier, he also holds degrees in technology, history, and mathematics. He is English and without question Spectrum's number one agent. He is the true professional agent, carrying out orders fast and efficiently, but off duty he is full of fun, carefree, bursting with energy and popular with all the Spectrum agents.
CAPTAIN BLUE,
From Boston, he is the son of a wealthy businessman and frequently pilots the Spectrum Jet liner. A brilliant scholar with first class honors in economics, technology, computer science, and aerodynamics, he preferred the thrillingly dangerous life of a top test pilot with Spectrum. He is a forceful personality but has endless patience and loves the outdoor life. Captain Blue and Captain Scarlet are close friends in and out of work.
Formerly a Spectrum agent, he was the leader of an expedition to Mars and was mysteriously captured and turned into a Mysteron Agent. He is now their most dangerous agent on the planet Earth and has narrowly escaped capture by Spectrum on many occasions.
Spectrum, and other agencies, are the only line of defense that can prevent the destruction of Earth!
