Magical Awakening
I live in darkness I am blind
I stumble about lurking in the shadows
I am alive yet I do not live
The magic of life has eluded me
I see the pain and sorrow
I hear the cries of lost children
I am trapped in morbid solitude
The magic of life has eluded me
I see his face appear before me
His hand reaches out to touch me
I know I must leave my solitude
The magic of life he wants to show me
From darkness to light he transports me
My sorrows he turns to wonderous joy
I can hear the children laughing
The magic of life he brings to me
In the sunlight he makes me see
The beauty that surrounds me
My frown he turns into a smile
The magic of life he gives me
I dance and sing a happy tune
I greet the children with open arms
I see the goodness feel the love
The magic of life is mine to keep
So come and touch his hand
Let him show you also
That all is not dark but also light
There is magic in our lives
