Tasha's career aboard the Enterprise lasted less than a year when she was killed by the alien Armus on the planet Vagra II, in a senseless display of it's power.

A dream came true for Barclay when the Enterprise-E traveled back in time due to an attack on Earth by the Borg. One day before Zefram Cochran flew the first warp-powered ship. Barclay was so excited to meet Cochran in person that he nearly gave his hero a nervous breakdown.

An Alien called the Traveler recognized Wesley's potential and urged Picard to encourage his interests and talents. Later that year Wesley was nearly executed for accidentally breaking the law on Rubicun III. In 2366 his experiments with nanites threatened the ship when the highly intelligent miscroscopic robots escaped. He failed his first addmission test to Starfleet academy in 2364, but was accepted the following year.
