James T. Kirk

Captain James T. (Tiberius) Kirk is easily one of the most famous men in Starfleet history. Born in Iowa in 2233, he excelled at Starfleets Academy, beating the no win scenario of the Kobayashi Maru and becoming Starfleets youngest Captain in history. He graduated the Academy in 2254 and his first post was aboard the U.S.S Farragut. In 2263 he assumed command of the Constitution-class starship, U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701. It was during his five year mission in command that Kirk became renown for his exploits and became close friends with two other legenday Starfleet officers, Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy.

Spock

Commander Spock of Vulcan was the first to join Starfleet, the perfect enviornment where his mixed heritage of half-human, half-Vulcan, would be an asset and where his unique potential could grow to it's fullest. His father, Sarek objected to his enrollment in Starfleet, which ignighted a feud that kept them apart for 18 years. Spock graduated from the Academy in 2253 and was assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise, first under the command of Christopher Pike, then James Kirk as First Officer/Science Officer. Spock plays the Vulcan Harp and is an expert of 3-dimensional chess.

Leonard McCoy

Dr. Leonard H. McCoy graduated from Starfleet Medical Academy in 2253 and joind the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, replacing Dr. Mark Piper as CMO (Chief Medical Officer) in 2266. His favorite past time is pointing out Spock's emotional side and having Spock pointing out McCoy's illogical emotion-based opinions.

Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott

Commander Montgomery Scott is known to all as Scotty and a miracle worker who can fix anything. He enrolled in Starfleet Academy in 2240 as an engineering major and graduated in 2244. He served on several ships at engineering posts before his promotion to Chief Engineer aboard the Enterprise, where he first served under Christopher Pike, then James Kirk. He is proud and possessive of the starship, so much that when a group of Klingons called her a garbage scow, he started a fight with them.

Uhura

Lieutenant Uhura was born in the United States of Africa in 2239. She is the Chief Communications officer aboard the Enterprise and fills the position extremely well. She speaks fluent Swahili and decorates her quarters with Africa artifacts. Her duties consist of sorting through hundres of messages recieved by the Enterprises computer every day. Ranging from news from Starfleet, to signals from other ships, to personal messages to crew members.

Pavel Chekov

Ensign Pavel A. (Andreievich) Chekov was born in Russia in 2245. He entered Starfleet Academy in 2263 and graduated in 2267. That same year he was assigned as Navigator aboard the Enterprise. Being so young, Kirk and Spock kept an eye on him, making sure he was given plenty of opportunities to expierence and learn.

Hikaru Sulu

Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu was born in 2237 in San Francisco. He joined Starfleet Academy in 2255 and spent seven years at various posts after graduation before getting posted aboard the Enterprise as a physicist. In less than a year Kirk transfered him to bridge duty, assigning him the post of helmsman. In the late 23rd Century, Sulu became captain of the U.S.S. Excelsior. A young Vulcan serving as science officer, Ensign Tuvok, later became Chief of Security under Captain Janeway aboard the U.S.S. Voyager.

Janice Rand

Yeoman Janice Rand came aboard when Captain Kirk took command of the Enterprise. He took took the best crew Starfleet had to offer, including Rand. Her job was to organize Kirk's life so that he could concentrate on commanding his ship. Though mutually attracted to each other Rand and Kirk never persued a romantic relationship, knowing it could jeopardize their duties. Though Rand only served aboard the ship for a year she played important roles in several away missions. When the Enterprise was refitted in 2271, Rand returned to service as Transporter Chief. By 2286 she transfered to Starfleet Command on Earth. While there she helped coordinate emergency procedures when Earth was threatened by the alien probe. Her last transfer in 2290 took her aboard the U.S.S. Excelsir as Communications Officer under the command of Captain Hikaru Sulu.
