Everything you never wanted to know about me....

So where do I start?

I was born in Burbank, California.  In a hospital that is directly across from Disney Studios.  Fate?  Probably not... but it is kinda cool.

I am a very passionate person... which is both a curse and a gift.  I tend to live my life on the ragged edge of disaster.  I laugh hard, I cry hard, I love hard... and God help you if you push me to anger.  I tend to be an all or nothing sort of personality.  I am also a terrible perfectionist... and if I don't master something in a short amount of time, I usually move on to something else.

Let me warn all passers by now... I am a FLIRT.  It is a terrible condition passed down to me by my mother.  It is sometimes dangerous but most of the time it is just a lot of good, old fashioned, fun. ;)   It only get dangerous when people start to take me seriously...

That  is how this poor hunky sap ended up as my husband... see what I mean... Dangerous.

Art -

I use to draw quite a bit when I was a kid.  I loved to draw my pony and unicorns and flying horses.... then I got hooked on Dinosaurs and Dragons.  I took Graphic Arts classes at Verdugo Hill High School  (::pauses to sing the alma mater... probably the only one in her class who knows it::)  I was planning to go to school and become an architect when I graduated.   ... Boy, fate really has a way of overturning plans.

I ended up married with twins when I was only 21 ( I had the twins at 19).  In all the hustle and bustle that is life... I stopped drawing.  I put all my life plans on the back burner and worked a full time job AND raised my family.

I didn't start drawing again until I had changed husbands and started a whole new life... Was that my inspiration?  No.  I have always loved animation.  I am a complete animationaholic.  But one day... when I was working at Disney Studios (Irony?  Fate?)  I heard of a new animated adventure series called "Gargoyles".  After the first 5 episodes aired... I was HOOKED.   Not only was I hooked on the story... but on the art.  I began to look for similar art on the internet, only to find that there were some GREAT 'Gargoyles' sites.  I was instantly hooked on Fanfic and Fanart for the show.  Inspired?  ... not yet.  It wasn't until a writer named "Christine Morgan" caught my imagination with her version of "Gargoyles"... THEN I picked up the pencil and paper again.

Like many artists, human hands and feet are the bane of my exhistance... But with taloned hands and elongated feet.  It was more like my dragon drawings than humans and my addiction to 'Gargoyles' got worse.

After oogling over Aimee Major and Raptor Woman's artwork... I soon became determined to teach myself how to use Photoshop.

More to come later...
