New Frontier Ranch and Research Center -- Montgomery Corners Explorations of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Reality
Traveling to the New Frontiers Research Hangar

You head down the main road for a couple of kilometers, enjoying the scenery. Side roads to Mermaid Lakes and Centaur Meadows may intrigue you but an appointment at the airport has a lock on your time.

The road comes to a three way intersection labeled Montgomery Corners. A sign points two directions. If you make a left turn it says that you are sixty four kilometers from the New Frontiers Airport. If you make a right turn it says you are two kilometers from the New Frontiers Airport.

After checking your odometer you realize that taking the right turn appears to be the correct direction according to the distances at the Front Gate.

The terrain doesn't look right though.

If you read the road right, a left turn would send you out of the foothills and into the plains. A sparkle of silver in the sky hints that there may be an airport out in that direction.

Turning right will send you deeper into the foothills. If there is an airport in that direction, it is very, very small.

There is some good news and some bad news though. The good news is that you don't have to worry about making the wrong choice because there are barriers across the road. The bad news is that the barriers block both branches.

Noting this you decide to ( turn around and let your vehicle take you back to the Front Gate / hurry back to the Front Gate).
