Description: 5'11"; long black hair; blue eyes; Male; average build; 198 lbs.; wears a impressive cape that changes colors with his moods or as he see fit, the cape also allows him flight in Amber or most anywhere in shadow, his cape is usually warped around him when he is standing almost like a cloak, and it offers him great protection (like armor); he wears a small blue emerald ring on his left pinky finger; usually has a crossbow hanging from his belt, sometimes carries a sword.
Son of Zhantar and Llewella. Neon is a know mighty wizard, a sorcerer, and a master of trump and logrus. He is viewed as another Brand with his mastery over trump. The self-proclaimed master of powers in the younger generation. He also holds first place in psyche in the younger generation. A man who read minds like open books. The road to this power, however was very long and very hard. He was on of the few in the younger generation who didn't die. Starting with little more than 105 (very aggressive biding) points in psyche, and sorcery with no where to hang spells. He has since come full tilt and is now in a place where the elder where when he began (although not a prince). After a year and a month of playing him (about 29 years in Amber time), the new next generation has now arrived.
It, Neon's life in Amber, all started with the arrival of another new generation in Amber. This was back in the time when he still called himself the "Silver Paladin". The times when actually thought he was a good fighter. They arrived and were dumped off in Amber town, and told to come to a meeting later. At that meeting they where told to head for Courts of Chaos to investigate a strange occurrence. On their way, all of the new generation was sent, they where attacked and a trend that would follow Neon all through his existence, would begin. They were attacked by LavaMen that originated from a lava stream. Neon after trying an assault with his gun-shield(no points) and sword(no points) had to escape, Here comes the trend, so he ran. All the others follow suite in running after it was disproved that they just keep coming out of the lava. And after a few mishaps, one in which Neon fell of a cliff about 300 feet above a river, they arrived. Not at all realizing the impact their actions would have, they sneaked in. Seeing what they though was pattern in a room just hanging on the wall(?!?). They went back to Amber.
After some involvement in what Neon thought was a Big movement in Amber called the ENER(it wasn't), and a psyche battle with Benedict which he won, and accidentally wiping some one's mind, he was thrown in jail. Charged with involvement with an enemy of Amber, Walker. This whole jail term was set up by a man named Adam warlock. 20 years of hell in a cell, which involved goo on the floor, the goo being set on fire, and a war that occurred outside that shock the whole castle. They (Walker, Zhantar, him) were let out. What happened after this was stranger.
This is where history becomes unclear. Something mysterious occurred, Zhantar disappeared. No big deal, right? Oh. but it was. He didn't just disappear he total disappeared from everyone's memory. The investigation lead Neon to the fabled and "non-existent" Adam warlock. He was apparently just a figment of the entire younger generation imagination, at least according to every one of the elders. There was a whole book series out written by Corwin on Adam and how him and Zhantar were one and the same. It involved all of the younger generation, including Neon, in some experiences that they had actually been in. It peeked Neon's interests and some weird things also happened next the entire younger generation (4 in all) that had died earlier was revived! Soon after follows the revival of Zhantar. This was weird enough because of the time that it came at.
Neon had taken an extended vacation from Amber (1 Amber year) during which Fiona had taken control of the entirety of Amber. Neon was too busy saving his mother's life from the hands of Fiona. Neon was also having an affair with Flora's daughter, Clara. In the assault on Amber Bley, Finndo and Benedict were captured. Clara was also killed, Neon also found out she was pregnant latter two being held in the Courts of Chaos. Neon watched as Sin, Grant, Walker tried to save them (see Sin). When Sin's apparent death Neon saved the others, and buried Sin in the courts. Neon also was pissed at Fiona for her attacks on his mother and the death of Clara. Neon had prior stolen the jewel of Judgement and was on Former King Eric's shit list. After a while of wandering they say brand staring at the abyss in the Courts of Chaos. He was mumbling something about the ultimate power being held within. The abyss was solidifying. They though they convinced Brand it wasn't worth it. Or so they though... Neon and the rest were taken to Brand's place out in shadow and settled for the night. Waken up the next morning Neon heard a bang. Not yet the master of trump he teleported, with a spell, there. He arrived in time to see his "Father" (it was a lie) dying. Before the death he blessed Neon and vowed Neon to his revenge. Neon, finding a locket on Brand, he took it. As Neon returned to the castle of brand he was amazed to find....Zhantar, after grabbing breakfast. Neon mad some insults in his direction, and Zhantar responded by chopping his leg off. Neon amazed and bleeding teleported away to heal.
Amber was taken back and Neon an outcast. Not helped by the fact that he was framed. Brand had found, and summoned, 'the ultimate power' (not knowing at the time it was Brand, he found out latter) and chopped off the unicorn's horn. Neon not feeling to well about life saw an opportunity he had found earlier. To join the house of Baremen in the Courts of Chaos. Neon did. He walked logrus and got shape shifting. His stay, however, was very short. Merlin was King and Hated Neon. He went to great lengths to dig up dirt on Neon and sentence him to death."" Neon escaped. He went to Amber and was reaccepted to Amber however as only a lowly count. Neon gritting his teeth accepted and decided to take it. All was pretty calm, except for his daughter accusing him of the death of Clara. Until the war.
The courts attacked, during which Neon son was killed by a captured Zhantar. The circumstances were unclear but Neon was out for blood. He hit Zhantar and escaped. He also freed all the prisoners creating a riot. He escaped just with his son's body just as his (Neon's son's twin, the one who hates him) arrived. Neon now with a full master of trump disappeared. Neon had sided with Zhantar at an earlier date for Zhantar's run for King. Eric was found dead and a new king was to be crowned by the Unicorn. It turned out to be Zhantar (having preformed many earlier feats of courage, to secure his Kinging). Now with Zhantar King and Neon a count it remains. The new younger generation having just arrived.
