Amber diceless RPG is by far the best rpg I have ever played! I love this game because of the way that it is played. It focuses on strategy, not luck of the dice! Amber focuses on the interaction of characters. Battle in Amber, are determined, if all is fair, by the person higher relavant stat. Of course this doesn't mean you have not chance if winning if you stats aren up to the challenge. Cheating is the name of the game. Sure a person with 100 warefare can beat you in a sword duel. But can he still win when he's outnumbered, in a mind battle, and exhuasted from staying up 3 days striaght?. Probably not.
The game is based on a point system. You start out with 100 points and go from there. Categories were you can use these points are:
Stats:
Psyche
Strenght
Endurance
Warfare
Or you can chose powers that range from:pattern, trump, sorcery, logrus, shape-shifting, conjuration; there are others but those are the significant ones.

| My character is Neon. He has first place in psyche and is powers orintated. I have played him for over a 4 years now. |

| One of the things that he has been involved in is a trip to the courts of Chaos. During that short trip(from which he got attuned to logrus and of course shapshifting) he was accused of treason. [Go figure, for going to Ambers enemy, I get accused of treason] Trying to escape the almost infinte(yes I know nothing is almost infinite) troops after him, he was chased into a bathroom. Apperantly the King of the Courts, Merlin ,hated Neon. Looking for a way out of certian doom, he saw the toilet. Neon shapeshifts, and yes, flushed himself down the toleit to escape. He finaly made his way to the edge of shadow when agian he was confronted. This time by a small army. He needed another way out. Neon did find one: He combined pure chaos(by now a master of logrus) and raw magical energies, to create a masive explosion. This is what Amber is like quick thinking and stategy. No dice to mess up your plans |
