Kim's Artwork
Okay, I only have two of my drawings
here right now, but there will be some more here very soon. These
are my two favorite projects that I did my senior year of high school.
This
painting was my first attempt at using oil on canvas, and I feel it turned
out rather well. I found that oil on canvas is one of my favorite
mediums to work with, and I look forward to using it again. Unfotunately,
the paint and canvas costs a lot of money, and I can't afford to buy it
right now. It's on a 13"x16" canvas that was supplied by the school. I'm
also disappointed as to how it scanned. The painting does not have
those little lines going across it. But all in all, I do get complimented
for this piece, and I'm very proud of it.
This
is a drawing that I did the beginning of my senior year. It won a
third place award in the school art show. I took my guitars and cd's
and set them up in my house and just began drawing them. I liked
them so much that I decided to turn them in for a project for my fine arts
class. I have this one framed and hanging on my wall. The glare
you see on the scanned picture is the flash from my camera. I was
going to take the whole frame apart and take it that way, but I decided
it looked fine. It also has a bluish tint to it caused by the scanner.
This is done with just a regular old pencil on a 20"x12" piece of white
paper, and only took me about two hours to draw.
