Quamps Discount MiSTing Listing

By popular demand, I'm putting all the MiSTings in one list...

The Dreaded Disclaimer

Deadpool: * Axe Grinder- Originally by1 MiSTed by Quamp.
This story is 1/3 plagerism, 1/3 horrible writing, and 1/3 missing. Deadpool sleeps while Bloodaxe attacks the Hellhouse.

Generation X MiSTs:

Generation X #40 Original by2, MiST by Kairi Taylor.
Starting the whole M/Penance mess, this issue BEGGED to be MiSTed. Kairi obliges for us all.

* Generation X #42- Original by2, MiST by Quamp.
This one was a last-minute throw-in because of events in X-Men. Originally Gen X was supposed to fight Bianca LaNiege but events in the X-Men made it impossible for them to do that this issue.
*Now Available! The MiSTer's Cut of Generation X #42 - includes material omitted from the original.

* Generation X #47- Original by2, MiSt by Quamp and the Icehole
- Hama's (thank God) last issue, Forge builds the team a new danger room. Of course, everything goes wrong.

Notice: The MSTs of Generation X #49 and #52 were removed at the request of the author, Amythyst.

*Generation X #54 Original by Jay Faerber, Mist by Quamp.
Yep, Gen X just hasn't been the same since Lobdell left it... and now the savior, Jay Faeber, slips up... In this one, the team beats on a bunch of trend villains called the Rising Sons.

Generation X #57: Original by Jay Faerber, MiST by Quamp.
*Part I is here
*Part II is here
Generation X is having a dance tonight, but like everything, it's ruined by Emplate. Bad scripting and Skin's outfit for the dance sink this one...

* Generation X #63 -Original by Warren Ellis and Brian Wood, Mist by the Icehole.
"Reinventing" Generation X might have sounded like a good idea at the time, but unfortunately, it was a change for the worse. Icehole puts the issue in its place by sending it to the Deep INIT station.

* Dancing- Original by JenX, MiST by Quamp.
JenX seems to have an unhealthy fixation with Chamber as she wants to dance with him.

* Liberation-Original by JenX, MiST by the Icehole
Continuing her fixation with Chamber, JenX continues her angst and lack of a plotline.

* Psycho Christmas Original by Quamp,, MiST by Kielle. That's right, one of my stories was deemed bad enough to deserve a MiSTing. If I dish it out, I have to take it. However, I have included a small archivist's commentary (Don't worry, Kielle! It's not that bad...)

* MBT2K - original by 1, MiST by Dru. The winner of my contest to see who could successfully MiST the Generation X/South Park Crossover by the Commission, Dru has some rough types read it over and tear it to pieces.

*Kardkaptor Sakura/Generation X- Original by Harry Putter Grinch, Mist By Quamp and Kairi Taylor. Striking out on his own from 1, Harry makes his own fanfic by himself. Not that it's any better than any of the other Commission related fanfics...
PLEASE BE WARNED: The original does not appear to be intended to be NC-17, but the misspellings and bad grammar make it seem that way.

X-Force MiSTs:

* The Rhythm is Gonna Get You, part 1- Original by Desert Nomad, MiST by Quamp
* The Rhythm is Gonna Get You, part 2.-Original by Desert Nomad, MiST by Quamp

- These two parts of the same story have Siryn running off and joining Michael Flatley's Riverdance. Here Flatley takes friendship lessons from Hitler and the writing is just bad.

* X-Force #81- Original by John Francis Moore et al., MiST by Quamp.
Weird cannot begin to describe this one. X-Force goes on a holiday in Hawaii when the Vanisher and Sledge show up, trying to get some mystical stone called the Heart of Pele. Pele herself shows up in one of the most predictable plots around.

* MST3K: A Rebirth - the Story of how Mike ended up going from a crash on the Earth to being Deep INIT. A prelude to the MiSTing of X-Force #91.

* X-Force #91 - Original by John Francis Moore, MiST by the Icehole.
Bad scripting and artwork from hell sink this putrid tale that gets rid of Siryn and Sunspot. Siryn meanders around San Francisco while the team looks for her. Both Sunspot and Siryn deserved better departures. Worse still is they replaced them with Jesse Bedlam.

* X-Force #103 - Original by Warren Ellis and Brian Edgington, MiST by The Icehole.
Revolution here is revolting. X-Force is turned upside-down and backwards, and nobody seems to care in the story. In the hosting segements, Pearl gets the idea that changing things around at deep INIT might not be a bad idea after all...

* X-Force #117 original by Peter Miligan and Zane Aldred, MiST by the Icehole.
It's that wacky reinvention time again! The new X-Force goes through characters like KISS went through guitarists. Here they gather a new bunch of potential victims, and talk about some guy named Mr. Sensitive (who changes his name to the Orphan about 2/3rds of the way through the story.) Oh, the Original X-force is there too, but they're being handled just as lamely...

*X-Force #125 w/short: Marijuana X-Force original by Peter Milligan, Marijuana original by Student X, MiST by Icehole. Poor Angel has to suffer through this slagheap of a comic book on her birthday. The spectre of death shows up and points at the members of X-Force. They also have a new heroine named Dead Girl who's as physically attractive as Rosanne. The short Marijuana is a very ill-conceived essay by someone at OSU who really smoked too much of the stuff before doing the essay.

* Sail Away- Original by1, MiST by Quamp and the Icehole.
The Commission is gaining a reputation around the net for being bad, and it's no wonder. This one has an ill-concieved X-Force Sailor Moon crossover. Only one of the members of the Commission knew anything about Sailor Moon at the time, and that one knew nothing about X-Force. In the middle for some unfathomable reason, X-Force turns into the Avengers. At one point, the Sailor Scouts prepare a cholesterol-packed breakfast, Mike comments: "I can feel my arteries clogging just by reading this."

* Crucify the Insincere- Original by1, MiST by Quamp
Yet another bad one, the Commission introduces us to the biggest waste of a cool villain name, the Crucifier. It seems that he has something against Domino (or rather, Domatrix) and gets a gang against her (I think.) It's missing a good chunk of material, and one of the members uploaded the wrong file, resulting in a spam in the middle of the piece.

*X-Statix #1 - Used to be X-Force, but thanks to Marvel's cheapness, they changed the name. Unfortunately, as they note, they didn't change the lack of quality. Original by Peter Milligan, MiST by Icehole

X-Men MiSTs:

* "Pillow" Original by JenX, MiST by the Icehole
JenX turns her hand to writing for Rogue, and probably should have left well enough alone. No plot to get in the way of this one, the angst runs high and deep here.

* "Dream Weaver"- Original by1, MiST by Quamp.
Rogue and Gambit go off and try to find some holy man in Bangladesh who keeps the Dream Weaver. Once they get him, he helps Rogue control her powers.

* Last Date - Original by1, MiST by Quamp.
Psylocke/Sighlock/Psiloque/etc. marries Angel/Angle/Angele/etc. Pretty bad.

*X-Men/Tomb Raider- Original by 1, MiST by the Icehole
Yippee! Another dumb crossover. Here Lara Croft becomes Laura Craft for about 2/3rds of the story, and the Commission again proves they earned their Forbush awards. Laura/Lara visits a tomb in Central America (they move it around three times) to get some artifact called "The Key to Everything." Once she gets it, the fan fic degenerates into a Gambit/Grambit/Gembit/Gambt hits on Lara/Laura for the rest of the fanfic.

*"Honey Moods" - originally by1, this fan fic is a sequal to "Last Date" and is just as bad. Misted by The Icehole

*Rouge vs. Laidee Death- original by 1, MiST by J. Wellington. This stinker was clumsily assembled. As Dr. Forrester puts it, "I'd describe the plot to you... but it doesn't have one." It has Lady Death completely mischaracterized as a sleeze, sleeping with two men in the story. Unusual in that it is set in season 1, Wellington's MST3K gives it the tearing to pieces it deserves. Special thanks to J. Wellington for allowing me to post this.

Shadow Me, Kitty
Original by R. Wellington, Mist by The Icehole, Quamp and others.
This one is just too mind numbing for words. R. treats us to his very anal retentive writing style, and a very obvious Mary Sue, "Ralph Walls, alias Galoshes." R. Gives exacting measurements of EVERYTHING - in both English and Metric, just so those of you living outside of the USA don't feel left out.
*Part I is here. This introduces us to his Mary Sue and gives us a general setup of how the fanfic will be. Of course, the word that best describes this is AWFUL.
*Part I A is here Since the original movement I is 100K, Icehole and I split it up into two parts. R. moves into the plain wrong by having all the X-ladies fawn and angst over his Mary Sue.
Note: We need help with movement II!
If you're interested in doing a paragraph from it, e-mail Icehole and tell him which paragraph you want. All paragraphs not MiSTed are up for grabs!

UPDATED! See what we have so far...

Please also be warned the original is 4 movements of around 50-100K each, so it does take a LONG time to download.

Others:

*"The Ultimate Battle"
Original by Victor Von Doom, MiST by Quamp
Part 1 is here
Part 2 is here
Part 3 is here
The above story is an ill-concieved Sailor Moon vs. Doctor Doom story. Doom beats on the Sailors, and turns Sailor Mercury against Sailor Moon. If you hate Sailor Moon, read the next two lines, otherwise. skip to the two after that. The only good thing about the story is he offs two of the Sailor Scouts. Other than that, it's just putrid. He Even goes so far as to off two of the Sailor Scouts. The rest of the story isn't much better.

*"Let's Be Frank..."- It's two MiSTs in one! The first is a spam I received, and the seond is the Kidz Water Hydrator ads found in issues like Generation X #52 and Gambit #5. Frank(by Quamp) has Lotus, Bander, Gambit and Rogue mocking the Spam. Kidz Water (by the Icehole)has Joel and the gang subjected to the Kidz Water Hydrators ads.

* Elektra #16- Original by 2, MiST by The Icehole
- Yes, Hama again. Here he has Elektra meet Shang Chi again and then they meet the Kingpin together. It's about as easy to swallow as a two-gallon dose of castor oil.

*Dark Angel #7 - Original by Gary, Mist by the Icehole.
Proof positive that Americans don't have a monopoly on bad writing, this British offering shows us how bad the British can be on writing.

*Dakota North #1 - Original by Martha Thomases, Mist by The Icehole.
James Bond meets Millie the Model in this bold experement gone horribly wrong. It reeks of bad writing, and since the editor is2, you can bet the time is bad.

*Shorts Originals by Tom Defalco and Ron Lim, and Tom Defalco and Ron Frenz, MiST by Quamp.
This is two short stories combined into one MiSTing. The first, "Juggie Goes Ape," is a pretty bad J2 story. The second, a Thunderstrike story, "Spawn," is also just as bad.
*Part II Features Wolverine in "Beer Run," By Frezzato, Shamrock in "I Haven't Got Time for the Pain," by Scott Lobdell and Dennis Jansen, and Moose Mason in "Deep Thoughts" by Defalco and Ollife. All are pretty bad.
*Marvelville #1 - Original by Bill Jemas, MiST by The Icehole.
Yes, Bill Jemas, president of Marvel thought he could write a good, funny comic book. He can't. It's so bad it reduces everyone to tears for a minute. I have to admit it was very painful reading the original, and how Icehole could have finished it by himself was beyond me. <turns to go wipe the drool Icehole is leaving on his shirt...>

*Marvelville #2 - Because Icehole is a glutton for punishment, he comes back from his catatonic state to deliver more torture to Mike, Angel and the bots with Marvelville #2. Some of Icehole's better hosting segments can be found with the visits to Deep INIT via the hexfield viewer from Peter David and Iron Man.
*Marvelville #3 Orignal by Bill Jemas, MiST by Icehole. Commericals by Quamp.
Once again, Bill Jemas tortures the world with his limited series. This time around, he tries to give us insights into the nature of God. Unfortunately, just like everyone else in the Marvel universe, God gets mischaracterized here too...
*Thunderbolts #76 - Man, what is it with Marvel? They get a good continuity going, and then wreck it. They always replace the continuity with one that's worse than before. Well, Icehole gives this train wreck of a comic its just deserts...
* Thunderbolts #77 w/short: Pokemon
Original short by the American Tract Society, original feature by John Arcudi, MiST by Icehole. Personally, I think the original material here is beyond saving, but that's just my opinion. Icehole slags this slagheap of a comic book, and gives a tract handed to us by some grinning zombie at Dallas Comicon 2003 its just deserts.

Avengers #75 Original by Geoff Johns, MiST by Icehole.
Geoff Johns has an off day and Icehole takes an advantage of it. Geoff either didn't care about how the character of the She-Hulk was created and carefully crafted over the years, or some editor ordered him to trash the character. Well, It gets its just deserts here...

*Superboy #86 Original by "Joe Bob" Kelly and "Paco Bob" Medina, MiST by the Icehole.
More stereotypes than you can shake a stick at and pretty bad dialogue shoot this one down. Mike, Angel, and the bots have their usual field day on this one...

*Aeros Original by Moises Delgado, MiST by Icehole It was a free comic book, and you know what they say about getting something for free. Aeros is an obvious Mary Sue Whipple hermit that gets called to the house of the mayor. For no apparent reason, the mayor tells him that he must leave the place. Two stereotype southern hick bounty hunters don't help either.

Why The Commission is so bad- Their rules as they set it up, in their own words.
