Mistic Circle
Rules Of Conduct

These are only for protection of copyrights, and to prevent any flaming, (fighting) between collaborators. They are NOT meant to curb your creativity, stint your imagination, or restrict your characters. That said, if you disagree with any of the rules, see a possible problem, or if I haven't made them clear enough, please e-mail the Admin so that we can clear it up!

1. All story chapters must be sent in the body of an e-mail. Cut and paste them there if you have to. Not everyone may have the same software, and it would be much easier if we did this in a format we know we can ALL read!

2. Everyone can post to the list when they like, but please try to keep the posts down to one per character, per day. (In other words, 2 characters, 2 posts a day.) It's perfectly fine to post to the list one day and then not add again for a while.

3. Nothing offensive please! This is only common sense - I doubt there'll be any problem! :-)

4. Please, no flaming of other writers, nor bashing or belittling of their work! Let's all be polite please, we're all trying our best!

5. This story is set in a semi-medieval world. Therefore, please keep your character(s) clothing and accessories consistent with a world in which there is little on no modern technology. Example: Your character(s) should not be wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. He/She should not have a cell phone or pager. Also, try to keep your character(s) dress consistent with her/his background. For example, if you want your character(s) to wear Elven Silks, he/she should either be an Elf or have a convincing reason for owning the garments.

6. No use of any copyrighted characters or locations. This includes anything in Misty's books, any other published or unpublished books, any TV shows (such as Xena: Warrior Princess) any comic books, coloring books, ect. Let's be completely original, folks! :-)

7. If you want to use another person's character or persona, please ask the creator first. This is only because it might create problems if someone (in the best of intentions) had a character doing something that the creator would never have she/he doing.

8. Please, try to keep your characters believable. For example, no Gods or Goddesses. Your character should not be immortal and an expert swordsperson. Try to give you character faults, and try to make him/her someone that you may meet on an ordinary day. You would not meet Gods, Goddesses, Kings, or Queens walking into a ordinary tavern.
