HTML (HyperText Markup Language) isn't that hard to learn. A lil' patience and a lil' creativity can go a long way. With a lil' luck, the information on this page will be understandable and useful to you as you start out in building your webpage. If it isn't or if you have a question, feel free to email me at migaard@geocities.com . I'll try to answer your question as promptly as I can. I wouldn't be able to do this if some people hadn't stopped to point me in the right direction.

Trouble-shooting And Other Helpful Sites...
Here's a list of some of the most common goofs that can easily screw-up your webpage and drive you quickly batty. Don't feel bad 'bout doing any of these errors, they happen (By the Gods, I've spent hours trying to get a webpage to work and in the end, what was screwing it up was a tiny lil' detail).
- If your linking to a file or a page, CHECK that you have the correct file name or page address!! A simple typo can drive you nuts!
- Check if you are using the complete command.
ie:
will not increase your font size because you are missing "SIZE" It should look like this...
- Check that the < & > brackets for your HTML commands are complete
ie: Hi there! /B>
will not work*. - Check that the / is in the closing command.
ie: Hi there!
won't work*. - Check that the closing command for paired commands are present
ie: Hi there!
won't work*. * In these examples, the everything after the bold command ( ) would appear in bold.
- Check that the < & > brackets for your HTML commands are complete
Some Really Helpful Sites...
This site is very helpful. One of the very cool things about this site is the colour chart. It gives the hexadecimal code (the 6 digit code for colours) and an example of the colour.
