Keeping a eye on
the market place
The latest in Babylon 5 merchandise

A not bad range of collectibles. Series
one contains G'Kar, Sheridan, Delenn and Mollari. each
come package with a ship (or station). The sculpting
really is not up to par compared to a lot of figures on
the market these days. As in the series the alien are far
more realistic than the humans. Series 2 promises to have
a Kosh figure which does look really nice, but hey they
didn't have to sculpt a face on that one. More on them
when ever they're released!

In Valens Name A three issue mini series by J. Michael Straczynski, Michael Collins and David Roach. The final story of Babylon 4 and plenty of flashbacks to the Minbar and Valen in the first Shadow war. Great stuff, thoroughly enjoyed this one. why, oh why don't they make it a series.

Voices The first in a series of Babylon 5
novels, they must be in double figures already! It took
me a while to get round to getting this, I knew it wasn't
going to be ground breaking literature and the opening
pages confirmed this. But I was soon involved in a
fiendish plot with familiar characters (Though Kosh's motives where questionable). So I read on and
I must say I was pleasantly surprised, nothing ground
breaking but some generally entertaining scenes (usually
involving Mr.Garibaldi) and a solid plot featuring a conspiracy to overthrow Psi Corp. From Amazon.com

Babylon 5 security Manual This is one of those books written as if it was done by Michael Garibaldi and Zack Allan. This approach I find infanatly irratating, but their is some interesting information and some nice pics. So it's a pros and cons affair. If you want to know about alien holidays and the personal emblems on Ivanavo's starfury this is for you. in my opinion there should have been a lot more detail, rather than the brief description given, but there's a lot of good images and logos.
