Hecate was born Abigail Gilheed in 1657, younger sister to Nathan
Gilheed the Firehawk of the element of fire. Growing up she shared a special
bond with her brother and was devastated when he left to take up his mantle.
Abigail took to studying the magical arts. A demon Nasgarthous took notice of
her and the uncanny strong natural ability to control magic. Nasgarthous sought
to make a weapon out of Elizabeth to turn on her brother Nathan and the rest of
the guardians. Nargarthous slaughtered her mother and father and forced her to
watch the hideous act. He began to twist Abigail to his own dark design body,
mind and soul. He force feed her mixtures of demon blood and human blood to
sustain her. The mixture of bloods gave her a demoniac body, a gray skinned
winged creature with claws strong enough to cut through metal and fangs
able to puncture thick armor. Nargarthous began her training and the black arts
which Abagail became very skilled. She was then infused with the shadow stone,
remnants of a chaos dragons heart. The shadow stone granted Abagail with even
more greater powers and strength. Abagail from then on took the name of Hecate
and then she slaughtered her master the demon Nargarthous. Hecate formed a
rapier sword from his bones, this cursed sword had the ability to steal souls
and either trap them in crystals or sustain Hecate’s hunger. Due to her
demoniac nature she now had to feed on human and demon alike.
The demon Legion who was really controlling Nargarthous approached and
offered to make a pact with her, he offered to help to slay the guardians and
steal their stones. With hese stones she would free the massive army of demons
trapped behind the gate and help her rule the earth. Hecate agreed unbeknownst
to her, Legion wants to destroy her after she accomplish the task of killing
the guardians. One fateful day Hecate scored her first, she managed to kill
Samantha Gilheed, the Phoenix of the element of Air and wife to her
brother Nathan.
Hecate has the ability to cast a innumerable amount of spells. She has
the ability to fly at up to 80 m.p.h. and can cover about two hundred miles
without resting. Her body is thick skinned and resilient to injury, her razor
sharp claws can cleave metal and she can use her prehensile tail to ensnare
victims. The stone of shadows allows her to create and control shadows. She can
conjure up creature made of shadows or use her victims shadows. She can control
up to ten creature with her mind at once, this control has a limit
of about six miles. She has the ability to blend into darkness rendering her
invisible and also she has the ability to shapeshift into different gisues. She
has excellent swordsmanship and can lift one ton, she lacks basic hand to hand
combat skills.
Hecate now seeks out those who are destined to bear the mantle of the
Phoenix of the element of Air slaughtering them before the other have a chance
to find her. She waits now for the day of final reckoning when she will have to
chance to kill her brother
