This year MOPS International’s theme is “Fresh Air: What Every Mom Needs”. I have to admit when I first heard the theme I was a little stumped. Fresh Air? Listen I could think of a lot of things that I need more than fresh air, like a good babysitter, or maybe a maid, how about a nice break. But, fresh air? What is that supposed to mean?

As valley residents we have the unique opportunity to see first hand what fresh air brings to our area. The fresh breeze removes the dusty old stale air and replaces it with crisp cool refreshing air and clearer blue skies with white puffy clouds. It perks up our senses and brings us new hope for a change in the seasons. Fresh air to our souls should do the same, perk us up, refresh us and brings us new hope.
